So just because something is FAR you automatically assume it is junk? As mentioned above, the reviews on Amazon are quite good - other than a batch where the right ear was defective. Not a concern, as Logitech is one of the best when it comes to warranty support.

I'm just saying in the years past, you couldn't pick up an UE set for under a few hundred dollars. They had a strong premium brand going. Now that Logitech bought them, they are pumping out UA branded headphones that may be nice for FAR, but are honestly quite junky compared to other high end models.
I know, I know, it's great for the consumer to have a $10 price-point, but the fact is the UE name is watered down, IMO.
It would be like Rolex being bought by Timex and putting out a $199 model with the Rolex name on it. Sure it's cheap. I'm sure it's nice. But it's not a real Rolex.
Anyway, green for free and all, but Logitech has cheapened the brand. I'll stand by that comment.

I was on the fence about the quality as many have posted the same thing... DOA. Got mine today, and it was DOA.

Sure enough. Mine is also problematic. The left ear's volume is like 50% of the right's. Tried multiple players. Wonder what should I do now? submit the rebate and write it off? Return to TD (do they pay return shipping?)? Claim warranty with Logitech? Pretty sure they want me to foot the bill for shipping.

I just received notice that my rebate was denied.
Since TigerDirect didn't seem to provide anything called a "receipt/invoice" (as required by the rebate offer), I sent a copy of the "TigerDirect Order Confirmation". Evidently, that wasn't good enough in the eyes of 4MyRebate.com / Reward Center.
Has anyone had better luck with this?

The Invoice is available on the TD website by clicking "My Account" in the top right and selecting "Order History, Invoice Copies, and Return Authorizations". You want the third column that says Invoice, not the order status from the first column. It will have your Invoice in html and pdf format.
You might want to try mailing the Invoice and/or Packing Slip to them along with a copy of the previous submission and maybe they'll reconsider. If you don't have a copy of your submission, you can print it from the link with rebate status they emailed to you: http://www.4myrebate.com/Claim/CheckRebateStatus/?zip=yyy&tracki... where xxx is your tracking # and yyy is your zip.
