Staples 12/30-1/5 FAER Photo Paper, $1aer Ream, $5/25 coupon, Free AFTER Rewards Event (Boxes, Binders, Calendar, etc)

I have enough Staples gc's to qualify for Premier in 2013 and my plan is to use them for FA Rebate not FA Rewards stuff unless I want the Rewards item, ie the plastic storage totes, double ink recycling. Going from gift card to Rewards is a step down not up the food chain, kwim? We have 365 days to reach Premier in 2013, no reason to rush.

2) I bought the Duracell batteries this week on 12/24...will I be able to buy batteries for rewards if I buy today or tomorrow?
2a) If not, will the battery rewards still be available 12/30?

Weekly ad from 26th on ends on Saturday 12/29. All the email blasts I have say 2 in total per week per customer with promo ending 12/29. As discussed in previous threads you can buy another 2 if you bought 2 from 12/23 through 12/25 but be prepared to do a return if you do not get the rewards. Historically, batteries have always been limited to 2 in total per week. Staples week is Sun-Sat.

Yes, I bought a pair on Monday, the 24th. I will buy another two Saturday/later today. And will assume both purchases will be free after Rewards, but will definitely keep the receipt from the 29th handy if I have to do a return.

I may have done something stupid today. I needed to liquidate some rewards on one account and decided to run the (2) photo paper and (4) reams TWICE. I did that twice so ended up with 4 photo and 8 reams. Will I be able to file for the SER with a different household or is it now linked to the household on my original account. I had to do it like this since I needed to hand over my reward account to use the rewards. I hope I didnt screw up too bad.

It's weird --- my 12/15 battery purchase was posted, but a few days later it had disappeared. I entered the barcode, and it reappeared a couple of days later. All the other ones posted okay. I took screenshots of everything, just to be safe.

Most of the time their screwed up system works against you and sometimes it works in your favor in getting back less/more rewards respectively.

Is the binder deal (100% Rewards) going to continue for several weeks in January like it did last year or is it just for this week? I guess time will tell. It's a really good deal for those who use binders (even though they are way overpriced).

Felt silly buying 132 dollars in Avery Binders, but c'est la vie, need to get premier for FY13/14. Now we just need some FAR tax software in the next month or two when I get a 300 dollar reward check, lol.

Is there any downside to mixing FARewards with other items (photo and Hammermill paper) and the $5 off $25 coupon? Or should I buy all non-FARewards in one transaction with a $5 coupon and then the FARewards items in other transactions each with $5 off $25 coupon? I think because I plan on using the $5 off coupon on the FARewards also, then I should just try to mix the items to get as close to $25 as possible.
