I stumbled across this and thought I would share. Inside the Macy's store, they have an automated kiosk like the ones found at the airport that sells electronics such as ipods, bose headphones, etc. I know these are usually full retail, but i saw the Shure headphones in there and so I decided to see how much they cost, and to my surprise, it said "Original Price: $149.99" - SALE $29.99" - So I bought myself a pair! This is a smoking hot deal. These are discontinued and replaced with the SE215's, but they were originally $150 headphones. They also had the 110's in there for $19.99 (originally $99.99). This was at the Macy's in the Mission Valley mall in San Diego, not sure if all Macys will have this.
As for the headphones themselves, they sound great. They are the first pair of in ear headphones that actually stay in my ear. I do have to say if you're a basshead you won't like these, these are for people who want to hear accurate reproduction of the highs and the mids in their music, probably better for jazz, classical, and vocal pop music - not good for electronic dance music or hip hop.

Can you let us know what exact models you purchased as far as the Kodak and Garmin goes?
Went to Attleboro, MA. Machine was pretty full. Grabbed all of the Shure headphones (4 sets SE110 and 3 sets SE210). Took some screenshots of the cameras, GPS and other headphone prices for your reference.

Sugar land TX, First Colony Mall does not have the Shure headphone but it does have other headphone. This is a very big YMMV deal.

Mine didn't carry any Shure headphones. Looked like they never did as the kiosk was full. No GPS or cameras either. Looking at the kiosk items list on their website doesn't even show Shure headphones.

great point. They also limit you to five items per purchase. After my initial purchase, the kiosk refused to accept any of my credit cards for my next purchase. Guessing there might be a safeguard in the system to limit the number of items. Ended up buying a Macy's gift card and using it as a work around.

Arcadia, CA (Santa Anita) had nothing but new stuff (no clearance items in it at all). There was also a sign on it saying it would not accept Macy's Gift Cards. I did find some cheap Protocol RC Helicopters though (obviously not in the machine).

fwiw, the Garmin GPS offerings look to be outdated models. a quick search on eBay shows you these are priced competitively, but my personal recommendation is to hold off for a fire sale on a newer unit that has lane assist and/or bluetooth etc. i would hate for anyone to by these and be disappointed with the features. BUT, if you just need a basic unit, these will get you going.

Went back yet again and picked up the Samsung SL420 camera for $49.99. Tried to buy it earlier but the mechanical arm couldn't grab it. Also grabbed the $9.99 media card reader/USB hub combo. I like it a lot. My business-class desktop doesn't have a media card reader built in like most consumer desktops so it's perfect for me.
