Considering TRU sells ABOVE retails, this only normalizes the price of two. No deal. Plenty of sites dedicated to explaining this....TRU has no deals on Legos.

@hammer45 - Actually, TRU OCCASIONALLY has deals on Legos. If you look hard enough, once in a while you will find sets that are priced the same as LEGO. One of the new Hobbot set, the Goblin King Battle WAS priced at $99.99 - the same as LEGO's RRP. Buy one get one 50% off meant that I got two for $150 - or $75 each - a 25% discount. However, today they are advertising a LEGO "sale", and I see that they raised the price to $114.99, then put it on "sale" down to $89.99. So it's still less than LEGO's RRP, but only 10% less.
Regarding the majority of the sets that are overpriced, you CAN still get Legos at a discount when they have their BOGO 50% off, just not a big discount. It usually comes out to about 10% - 15% off. So, saying that TRU has NO deals on Legos is incorrect. You can get LEGO deals at TRU - just usually not great ones (although there are good ones occasionally).

True. Also don't forget to stack the deal with 3.0% CashBack using another site... sorry, can't say which one.
