Don't want to shoot this down, but some OEMs have a "whitelist" of allowed wireless cards hardcoded into the BIOS. Some OEMs like HP lock their systems down hard,some like Acer give you essentially a free hand to use whatever wireless card you wish.
Google your lappy model with "wireless whitelist", or "BIOS whitelist" just to cover the bases.

Does this card have Bluetooth 3.0 combined as well? Or just WiFi and WiDi? For the WiFi, is it dual band? And 300Mbps?

Mini WiFi dongle is some cheaper. It works fine for me.

Here is a Link to Intel's .pdf briefing stating it works on Wireless N 5ghz. They should have named the 5ghz portion of wireless n something different because it just confuses people. Now to figure out if it will work in my Dell Inspiron Duo.
I have a ThinkPad x220, and I know this was one of the available options at the time. I think it supports one more antenna than I have in my laptop, 3 instead of 2 because of the webcam option I chose. Will I run into any issues with this?

Most likely not. Lenovo/IBM only allow white-listed parts for replacement and are notorious for being one of the stricter OEMs regarding this matter. I could be wrong, but this card will most likely fail a BIOS check on a Thinkpad. You would want the 6250 card (same model) but with the specific Lenovo or IBM model number or letter designation, or look for the description "for IBM / Lenovo" or something similar. These Lenovo/IBM cards generally cost a bit more as well.

I have replaced many laptop wireless cards with Intel cards. Yes, HP and Lenovo both "Whitelist" their wireless cards so you can't even POST out of BIOS if you have the wrong card installed. Dell, Toshiba, etc. do not suffer from this problem, so you can upgrade those cards without worry, as long as the card is not incompatible with the laptop.
You can find used versions of the Intel cards on eBay pretty cheaply, though, usually for under $20 or even under $10 depending on the card. I've had bad luck with the "new" ones on eBay from China - they always seem to be different from the advertised model.
