It is typically online as well. GCs usually ship separately.
This will be the same as all the other GC deals they ran before Christmas. Meaning your receipt will show item price +GC amount and then the GC too but rest assured you are paying normal price for the item and receiving the GC in the amount stated.
And yes this is for the current iPad, the "iPad with Retina display". I suppose if you find an older model which I believe Target sells for less the GC will also apply.

great post. If I apply for Target redcard in store, will I get the 5% off instantly or I have to wait until the redcard shipped to me?

Thanks. Yes. They give you a temp card (either credit or debit depending on which you apply for). If a CC I think the initial limit is fairly low, not sure of the exact amount.

microcenter has better pricing on some ipad models if you have one near by
Anyone doing Shopkick? I've gotten I think about $12 worth of cards so far. The funny is the guy who works there who scans the stuff and maxes it at the Missouri City Hwy 6 store. H town!
