I've had my pair of Birkenstocks, the style of which is no longer sold but similar, re-soled twice. It costs me over double this to have them re-soled again, so these win! Thanks OP!

Yay! It's only taken me eight years to talk hubby into a pair of birks. I've worn them for years, nothing else is as comfy once they are broken in and they last forever.
