The thing to notice here is that the promo is only on new and qualifying books. You will almost always save a lot more by buying the books used. This could be a nice deal if you need to purchase a book new to get an online access code or something though.

This was the case last week for spouse's books... and price for new was 1/2 what USED ones were at school rapestore... er... bookstore!!! With Prime, her books were in hand in 2 days. How can you beat that deal? Get a $5 MP3 credit... which I did
