Green because it's $200 and it has HDMI. Use it as a monitor with a cable box and/or for gaming system.
Did you read the product description? The seller clearly states "moderate use". I doubt these were refurbished. They were prob returns that are quickly checked, re-boxed and shipped out via eBay.

For people who worry about such things, you can purchase a Square Trade 1 year warranty for $32 and two year warrranty for $48.
I have found that these monitors either become defective within thirty days or work almost forever, especially Samsung.
I went to the local Tiger Direct store and was not overly impressed with the picture quality. One thing, it is too big for using at my desk.
