Paying any money for a 3G at this point is a mistake. And I like iPhones.

I have an old iPhone 3G 8GB that I had unlocked by AT&T. I also performed a jailbreak. It was in very good condition. Recently, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3. Samsung has a buyback program to sell back a phone with the purchase of a Samsung. They offered $15 about a week ago. Gazelle offered $15. Back in Dec, I was offered $25 by Samsung.
I decided to try my luck on eBay and Craigslist. Believe it or not, I sold mine on eBay for $190+. Someone was willing to buy it locally on Craigslist for $100. However, I already had a bid on eBay, so I decided not to sell it to the Craigslist buyer. I was truly surprised that people were willing to pay that amount for a phone with technology from 4 1/2 years ago.
