Combine with BB $50 off $100 competitor coupon?

Kidding, kidding

Is this going to stack with the FAR items (photo paper, etc.)???

confused200 said:   Is this going to stack with the FAR items (photo paper, etc.)???

Don't see why not. Only think it won't stack with are items where you get rewards with purchase. And I don't know of any items which are available that have bonus rewards right now.

Except you won't be able to spend Rewards to buy it since the 25% is after coupons are applied.

That Trend Micro rebate deal is online only and the last time Stapels offered this 25% back in Staples Rewards in-store kiosk orders did not earn the bonus.

With the 25% back in rewards coupon, it would make this calculator only $1.24 after 25% rewards coupon and $10 MAIL-IN rebate:

I hate dame Staples, gave us a 15% off coupon on a Sunday when i did all my purchases. Now to decide if i want to return everything and buy again what a pain in the A$$. Any suggestions on what else to get when i am there to do the returns?

Hey, you should be thankful that they are making some enticing offers. That's how marketing and promos are supposed to work: What can we do to make the customer come in to the store?

Remember, if you already made purchases with the 15% coupon AND spent Rewards money, then you did the right thing. There is no way to use this 25% Rewards coupon and pay with rewards, because doing so lowers the purchase total, perhaps to zero, meaning you won't have a balance on which to get the Rewards bonus.

You can't use both the 15%
off and 25% back in Rewards coupon together

VTECH phone would be a good deal too..

I see where givememoredeals is coming from. I'd rather get +25% back and use my rewards some other time.

5 digit code = generic = 0 risk.

Yup, already did 15% off combined with a 10 off 50 OD coupon to cash out some rewards, as well as 16 dollar MM. If I had to go to the shitty Staples where the manager makes up reasons to not accept competitor coupons, I would feel a lot less bad about it with the 25% back in rewards.

Sure. It depends on the situation. If one had lots of Rewards to use, buying all the FAR paper and photo paper with the 15% coupon was the best way to turn Rewards into cash with a 15% bonus. The Rewards 25% bonus coupon is a better deal if one is not concerned about using Rewards before they expire.

Some of us have built up so much in Rewards that we need to find good ways to use them before finding ways to keep adding to them.

Seems like there are references on the other site that says that it does stack.

Was sent to all Staples Rewards members who didn't opt-out of emails. That's there to block people who didn't sign up for Rewards before redeeming coupon. It's fine.

15% instant vs. 25% rewards isn't worth losing sleep over (or doing return/rebuy) for this week's FAR purchases.

FAR photo paper = $14.99 * 2 = $29.98
FAR MP ream = $6.99
FAR Pastels = $8.99 * 2 = $17.98
Total = $54.95

15% off = $54.95 - $8.24 = $46.71 + tax, if applicable. Receive $2.12 paper rewards. Net = $44.59

25% rewards = $54.95 + tax, if applicable. Receive $13.74 rewards. Net = $41.21

End result ... 25% is $3.38 less excluding tax, but you have $11.62 more in rewards to "convert" to cash.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but thought folks might find this useful if you have an iPhone and accommodating Staples customer service folks (called store clerks in my day). From your email, you can click "Open Coupon" which opens Safari, they you can tap on the box with the outward arrow (export/print/send to) and choose "Add to Homescreen". When you are checking out, you just tap on the new item on your screen, it brings up the coupon and the clerk can scan or enter the code. I find that I print many more coupons than I use and end up using alot of paper and ink in the process. This works better for me.

I monitor 3 accounts and only 1 account received the email for 25% off rewards.

kirku said:   I monitor 3 accounts and only 1 account received the email for 25% off rewards.

Use the same coupon on the others, it will work.
However they do send eMails in batches, you may still get it on the others.

kirku said:   I monitor 3 accounts and only 1 account received the email for 25% off rewards.I found 3 copies of the email in my spam folder.

My primary email received "Savings inside! It's the perfect time to shop." -- no 25% reward coupon. All others received "Huge news. 25% back in Rewards, storewide!"

Thanks for the heads up on the kiosk order. Doesn't look like I'm buying anything since I've already cashed-in on the FAR stuff using Rewards.

So question, as this never occured to me before... you buy something that's FAR, pay for it using rewards, but you still get the rebate check... essentially getting paid for taking the item. Correct?

The 15% coupon is still working today. I just stacked it with my purchase that I also used the 25% rewards on. Yeh I will get less back on the 25% rewards but I spent 15% less out of pocket.

My local Staples had stacks of print outs of the 25% offer by each register for all costumers.

15% didn't scan today, for me. Odd!

zhoen said:   So question, as this never occured to me before... you buy something that's FAR, pay for it using rewards, but you still get the rebate check... essentially getting paid for taking the item. Correct?Yes, but you only get paid for taking the item if you use those rewards. Staples counts on some people letting them expire.

You get "paid" in merchandise; not cash -- unless you sold those merchandise for cash.

The e mail coupons included a $25 off a case of Staples® Multipurpose Paper. Regular price is $49.99; online price is $31.99. Would a store match the online price ~and~ accept $25 coupon, ~and~ apply buy two, get one free as advertised this week?

Was anyone able to get Staples to take the BB $50 off 100? I didn't read any successful attempts

This is a great deal with the 15% coupon which is still working! I bought 1 Pastel Reem (w/ dummy SKU) & 3 Iris Stack & Pull totes on sale for 6.00 each (reg 13.49) with the expired 15% off & 25% code. It all came to about $9.50 (AR/SR) w/tax. Thanks OP!

You mean, can we stack both 15% off and 25% off coupons. I know one is a coupon while other is a rewards coupon, but still as they both r % off, I am wondering if they both work together.

Why not? Been done before. You only get back in 25% rewards what you spend OOP so the discount is covered. The 25% is rewards back and not a discount. It is only the trigger for the rewards system to compute the 25% rewards anyway. Just a code when entered and not a discount. That is why they work together.

Skipping 94 Messages...

My Dashboard shows a huge amount (too much -- $99!) in Rewards, but the Rewards Summary only shows $19.

Meanwhile under Purchase Details, I've got one transaction for $150 and change (included a HD), with SR of $39, but containing only a single item, the "paper offer".

I had already started my 2013 spreadsheet but this is going to be a mess to sort out, especially if I have any more returns to do.

When exactly do they pay out the Jan Rewards earnings? It just says "Feb statement". I ask because I assume (please correct me) if I submit any missing receipts for SR now, they'll be added to the $99 payout. If I wait for the payout to be paid, they'll be on another, smaller, payout?

Thanks!
=aw
