Only 2 HDMI for a TV at this price tag?

I can't decide which one I should get. Two is more than enough for me. I already have a HDMI splitter which gives me another 4 ports. I kept debating which one, will it be vizio 60" or the sharp 60". Most of the reviewers had problems with vizio/shaRP, so I end up picking this one.

Still a great price for a 60" LED. I suspect most people are either going to be in one of two boats; 1) basic user with a cable box and a BD/DVD player or 2) advanced users that will be using a AVR that will handle their switching anyhow.
I'm using 5 HDMI (TiVo, PS3, 360, HTPC, aux for laptop) plus a Wii on composite and I still only have two cables going to my TV, power and a single HDMI.
Even if you need to hook up an Xbox or PS3 along with your BD and cable box, you can still go to with component and retain the same quality with those sources, as HDMI.

That's exactly what I do. I am going to move my 42" to bedroom and replace it with this one. As Amazon pricematched, save the taxes compared to bestbuy. Purchased on AMEX card to get the extended warranty

Amazon is no longer price matching but it still qualifies for 2% back in Rewards, the TV Low Price Guarantee, Free Shipping, and Enhanced Delivery from Amazon.

I think its a good deal. For that size and quality of samsung it should be good. Not like the Vizio and sharp which dies in two months
Which one you suggest?

Any difference between 55" and 60" besides the size?

I ordered at 1/22 6pm at Amazon. They did price match. Sign in, go to the product page, then at the middle left, have Amazon call you, that is what I did and the CS rep went to BB web site and double checked the price. The CS rep had me order it, then the CS rep changed the price on the order to the $ 999.00.

For comparison with some tradeoffs, the VIZIO E601i-A3 60-inch is for $898 at WalMart now. Its picture quality may not be as good, but it has 4 HDMI and Wifi. Depends what features are important to you.

So, is the picture quality of the Samsung 6000 minus Wifi and 2 HDMI ports plus $100 better than the Vizio E601? I'd like to know...because that is the decision I'm trying to make
I personally think the TV wifi is overrated because of smartphones and iPads...if you have other Netflix plans.

I just bought this at Costco for about $100 more. I had to exchange due to vertical line down the screen but I'm very happy with the 2nd one.

You can always stream via bluray or xbox or htpc... I have xbox, ps3, blu-ray and htpc. and an onkyo receiver

Went and viewed the Vizio E601-a3 against this Samsung. Samsung had a brighter picture but who knows what settings were set, and the Vizio showed some lag issues with sports action. But know the Vizio is 888 on Amazon.... Either way, should we wait until after the Super Bowl??

this tv is awesome, tv was delivered in 3 days after ordering from Amazon. Picture quality is just amazing. I know everyone wants to have a smart tv, but more things you add, the more complex it becomes and it looses it original quality or you pay 3 times to cost.
