I have this TV. Be prepared for burn-in, line bleed, and buzzing. Also, it seems impossible to get skintones right.

600hz. This is a plasma. It's mostly older LCDs that have the 60Hz refresh.

These numbers are not comparable. Because plasma TVs can't limit the brightness of a single pixel directly (the way LCDs can), they use the amount of time it is "on" instead. For example, if the pixel was lit 50% (300 out of the 600 available cycles per second) of the time, it would have around half the brightness. With a 600hz refresh rate, there are a lot of options for its perceived brightness. The "better" plasmas have a refresh rate of 2500hz I think.
