Never seen a laptop or notebook computer that can't run Skype. It has a built-in camera and microphone running Windows 8. Should run Skype with no problems. Doesn't Microsoft own Skype?
Not the best laptop out there, but for web browsing and general use, it should be OK. I bought two of them for my kids. For that price, it's not that bad. And if they break after the warranty, I can always get them something newer and better.
Looks like Best Buy will be increasing the discounts on their clearance laptops every day until it reaches 25% off.

Didn't seem "snarky" at all. Hopefully, it will be taken by many as, you provided an answer for this time and reminded them of how to get the answer next time when one is so easily available. Would be different if someone is looking for experienced opinion rather than basic easily available fact.
