YOU NEED AN AMEX CC TO PARTICIPATE!!! Prepaid cards don't seem to count.

The sync form doesn't work if Adblock Plus is enabled.

Awesome, thanks

Does anyone know which carrier are they using? I'm currently on vacation and my mail is being forwarded by USPS.

Called the number in the confirmation e-mail and was told it will be shipped by UPS.

Where did you see the 2nd hashtag to tweet? I think I missed it. It said I had to do it within 15 inutes, but I can't find it!

Click on @Connect link at the top of the twitter page. The hashtag is #ConfirmAmexGiftCard25

It took almost 20 minutes for it to show up on twitter. Looks like you have 15 minutes from when THEY give you the code not when you put in the address info.

Been damn near 45 minutes for me, no confirmation.

I'm doing my next two now..they are both at 39 minutes! Patiently waiting...

ETA:
#1 came at about 20 minutes
#2 came at exactly 1 hour
#3 1 hour 2 minutes

Got it after 58 mins.

26 minutes... nothing

31 Mins and still waiting. Did anyone get a confirmation?

Thanks. Couldn't get submit button @AMEX to work in FF even w/AdBlock turned off. Worked fine in IE. Now waiting for Hashtag.

Got my confirmation after 50 mins

Only took me about 40 minutes to complete it all.
Already been charged the $15.

Almost exactly 1 hours for confirmation tweet.

Had to update my card info but then couldn't get them to reply with the confirmation, they would just say read their first reply. Had to send it to @askamex but it finally went through. Only took about 75mins.

Be patient. Delay is likely FW effect. When I did this deal, it took less than 5 minutes end-to-end.

Same problem in Chrome. Worked in IE.

Hard to be patient with the stupid 15 minute window. It's like watching paint dry

Can you buy more than one using the same twitter account and different card? I tried and got this response "You've already purchased the $25 AMEX Gift Card (limit 1 per synced Card). If an error, contact @AskAmex"

Everytime these deals pop up, I keep asking myself: Why does Twitter need my AMEX account number? Nowhere do I come up with a reasonable answer.

If you're giving Twitter your AMEX account number, you're doing it wrong.

Just got this: Sorry, we're having trouble processing your request to purchase $25 AMEX Gift Card. Pls try again or contact @AskAmex

Don't know what to think. Tried again and get "Already Sync'd" So not sure what they mean by try again. Sent inquiry to @AskAmex.

Do I need to have AMEX in order to get the giftcard?

in a broader sense, what is the marketing connection to pair the two?

Excellent and it worked.. Green OP

Hawaii residents aren't eligible.

Thanks OP, since I don't use twitter at all, it took me a fw minutes to figure how this whole thing works.
After an hour of clicking and trying, I got my emial confirmation.

That way easy.

Took an hour to confirm and get a response after updating info...great find!

Thanks OP! Took me around 20 mins now..

One account went through fine, the other is still pending...

Are you using multiple twitter accounts or un-syncing then syncing the next card?

It's working pretty fast now. I just did it 6 times with 6 cards and 6 twitter accounts. Only took about 30 minutes to do them all. The last few tweeted back almost instantly.

Where do I buy the gift card?
I don't see a link for it

Thanks OP, again.
This time it took me only 10 minutes to crate a twitter account for my wife and go through the whole process.

Worked within 5 mins for me - make sure your Twitter account is not protected and if first tweet doesn't work then delete and repost.

I took a peek at my AMEX to see if I was cancelling Blockbuster today (I was) and I saw 1$, 1$ and 15$ from a shady-looking company name. I was about to email my banking co., then realised that it was probably whoever is running this stupid promotion. Realise that the 1$ and 1$ charges will probably disappear soon, but what is the deal? - E

Why did you participate in this "stupid promotion"? If you bothered to read the email confirmation, you would have known that Links Unlimited is the fulfillment company.

Why I participated is not germane to the question I was asking. Why are you launching personal attacks at me like if this was 4chan?

Here is a reason I certainly did NOT participate: to have a bunch of 1$ charges from a ridiculously shady sounding company posted to my account.

How many are necessary to ensure that the card is legitimate? It is a rhetorical question; no need to answer. Certainly not more than one.

Troll on, sir. - E
