Anyone has gone to these Ikea "Seize the Day" events lately? Want to know if you have to get there before the store opens and dash like mad to grab a messily few available in the store, or are there plenty to be had. Any comment on this is appreciated.

I can't comment on the sales events but I do own the shelf. It is bigger than it looks in the picture. Was a pain to assemble by myself, use a power tool for sure.

Any comment on this is appreciated.Generally speaking, if you saunter in after a late lunch, you are still good. If it's a really hot item, you want to get in a little earlier than that. Some not-so-hot items are available even until closing. A little like woot or Amazon Lightning Deals, if you are familiar with either.

Thanks. Got there at 10:45 am or so (store opens at 10), and there were plenty. I think by the time I left at noon, they were still some left. Got 6 total. Nice deal.
I called the store in Canton, MI. They were sold out within 2 hours of the store opening.

I went yesterday to the IKEA in West Sacramento. Sundays are usually the most crowded day of the week (is it for the breakfast?) I figured it'd only get madder on Seize the Day events like these. I got into the store at 10:05AM, was told to go to a special line, found out I was #81 and still good.
By 10:50AM as I checked out, I heard a cheer from the IKEA workers handing out these GORM shelves. They put up "SOLD OUT!" signs.
