This app is regularly $4.99, it's free for today. This app has been around on the HP Touchpad for a while, but just came out for iPad and Android. Looks like it's still full price on Android, but my cats have had a lot of fun on this, and I found it worth it.

Thanks! My cat likes it - a lot!
I like the realistic sounds and movement of the toys (especially the bugs)...just the right amount of stop and go, a little twitch now and then just to perk up the cat's attention. I didn't notice at first, but the "toy" stops moving when the cat "hold it down" with their paw (though this is not quite sensitive enough, could be improved). There are a few "duplicates" of essentially the same toy, just a different color, but each type has differences in sounds and slightly different behavior.
I've download different cat games now and then for variety. Up til now, Friskies' Cat Fishing has been the favorite (free). Cat Fishing is good, but the first rounds are too slow to attract the cat's attention, so I have to play them myself to get to the faster rounds.
This game is even better than Cat Fishing! The sounds add to the realism and help keep the cat interested when their attention wanders, and there's no place to tap to end the game (you have to use the Home button) which prevents the cat accidentally closing the game, something that happens all the time with Cat Fishing.
Cat is still entertained with this going on 30 minutes now. I think it's a winner!
OMG, I was just startled by catching the spider out of the corner of my eye *lol*
Very good cat game.
***One word of warning if you haven't shown your cat iPad games yet: your cat will become VERY interested in your iPad once you introduce these games - they will think of it as a toy - could be a nuisance if you need your cat to not be pawing at your iPad sometimes while you're working on it. So just be sure you're OK with that before you proceed!***

You can go back from playing mode to the toy selection screen by swiping diagonally from one corner to the other. This instruction is in one of the notification screens at the beginning, but it goes by too fast to read.
