Thanks OP!

This is not a negative, just a Heads-Up---Mail-In-Rebate, not an Easy Rebate.

Also remember that the T&C state "One rebate per product per household", not per offer. So if you have bought the product from Newegg or earlier from Staples they could deny your submission. Unless of course, you have an alternate email and address for the rebate.

as for the multiple submission warning, to date, there has never been an instance of a "new offer" MIR from Staples on a McAfee item being denied if you had bought the same title before under a different offer # at Staples.

Newegg (and I think Fry's) offers are a different issue.

Is Constant Guard and Norton Security Suite work the same as this protection? You can download installed free with Comcast login ID.

Most folks are not planning to actually use the product.

Yup .. most people just ending up contributing to the bubble that seem to benefit most parties involved in the finance chain: the purchaser, store chain, software manufacturer, and possibly other associated companies ... not sure who foots the bill, possibly the shareholders & govt ?

The people who foot the bill are the people who buy the product and then forget to send in the rebate.

"Not sold at this location" at either Austin,TX store according to Reserve and Pickup. Maybe limited distribution? Check before making a trip to the store.

Nice, got 140 in rewards to cash out. This + the two Total Defense SKUs - 20% bag should enable a cashout of around 110 and net 135 in rebates.

Thx OP.

not really an issue, can still do a kiosk order, think 20% off coupon will still apply but YMMV on that scenario.

no recent feedback from OD purchases that I've seen or in other words, I can't say.

Call the store and ask. Staples.com cannot tell you either as their information is incorrect. Someone else had this issue and when they called the store there were 10 on the shelf.

Find the rebate using "Total Defense" as a keyword search via easy rebates site. They are on the rebate.

Thanks Mathfaster. I see 2 rebates for $50 and $20, not sure if they r FAR or if the purchase price is difft than the rebate. Appreciate if anyone of u who had done this rebates let me know the original price of these products.

They are FAR. Prices are $50 and $20. And yes I have done these rebates with the help of VivYip and they are validated. Find the prior posts if you want further confirmation.

could we take the discussion re: Total Defense to the weekly thread? Got me confused since this thread is about McAfee.

Are you guys able to reserve this for store pickup? I can order online for free shipping or ship to store where I pay first but "reserve and pickup" option seems to be missing.

Thanks for reminding me of that option. None of the stores have them in my area and I'm going to combine w/total defense to monitize rewards. Challenge is finding all of the items in one location. . Sure wish Staples would get smart and let us use the rewards until they are gone instead of 2 times use per reward. Makes it rather difficult to use the larger ones.

I've read where people have had challenges with McAfee rebates. Do you think there will be challenge doing a rebate from a Kiosk order where it's paid for at register. I've done plenty of Staples rebates that way but those are easy compared to these mail in rebates.

You can pre-register your McAfee rebate @ McAfeerebates.com. Since a kiosk order is an online order you should be able to use your packing slip as the receipt just like any other rebate for a mail in rebate offer.

I have never done McAfee rebate. But i found below comment in McAfee Rebate details. Does that mean they will send only $52 rebate check. Or if i purchase online for $65 + $10 filler to use 25 off 75 coupon and get only $50 in rebate? Thanks in advance for help
Rebate amount paid to customer for single or combined rebate offers may not exceed the purchase price of the McAfee product.

You will get the full rebate even if you paid $.00 using rewards. Just circle the full retail price on the receipt as an aid to the clerk but I doubt that matters. Same goes for any coupons used. You will get the full rebate amount.

I rarely shop at Staples, so I don't know how everything works. I have a little over $56 in my Staples reward. If I use the reward to pay for McAfee Total Protection, and I still will get my rebate. Am I right? Thank you for your help in advance!
