Definitely not a cheap laptop but for i7, 8GB and 1gb dedicated vid card, i think it is a good deal. Also has 9cell battery and resolution is 1600x900.

I bought the Quad core 3630QM CPU version of this for $980 a couple of months ago. It was the only quad core Ivy Bridge laptop that would work with my Windows XP Pro. It comes with all XP drivers except USB3, which you can add in the Expresscard slot.
