Staff Summary

This size tv works perfect, and at the price i'll risk a refurb. Thanks!

Good deal for a cheap TV. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

Great deal. HDMI cable not included. High-speed HDMI cable is the only connection that can deliver a full HDTV experience with a full 1080p picture and digital surround sound.

Cool, no need the cable since this tv delivers a 720p hdtv experience.

Um what does that have to do with this deal?

Hdmi cables cost like 2 bucks...

Even the long ones if you send in the MIR.

in for one. thanks OP! $132.52 out the door.

tempting deal...

In!Don't forget extra 5% ShopDiscover for those who have card. Finally used up a few gift cards from nightmares prior w/BB!

This unit has pretty great reviews on WalMart & Amazon (edited to add that)

I was just at WalMart, this tv is $228 and passes the 10' test.

I just bought this same TV at Costco $199 (new, not refurb) for the bedroom, nice looking, perfect size, nice image (I turned off the ambient light sensor), and the sound is good (if you turn off the stupid "super-duper SRS something, something").

We have it connected with an MC Extender and it gets used for a makeshift stereo system when my wife is doing her yoga (or when we want to listen to 70's porn music )

Bow-Chika-Bow-Bow...

Here's a $15 swivel wall mount that I think will work with this too. 30lb max and this weighs 13.1lbs. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=108...

I have this and bought it at the same price at Best Buy refurbished. I thought about buying another one and using it as a monitor because the price was so cheap. The only thing I don't like about it that I always have to enter the CC every time I switch from Computer to TV (I am hearing impaired) It's not that big of a problem since the remote has a dedicated CC button. Still, it's a great TV. You will have to enter the advanced settings and set custom colors to get the best color for the set. It takes a bit of fiddling but not much.

It says it weighs 13 pounds but really it doesn't feel like 13 pounds. I guess it could.

I use it in my Kitchen and have it hooked up to a computer there - great for looking up recipes when I need to.

Oh all right, all right!!

In for 1!

EDIT: Out of curiosity......anybody know what tuners are onboard?? (I'm not seeing it in the specs at BB or Vizio).

Refurb with a 90 day warranty, that never works out good for me. August 10th is the over/under for this tv to stop working.

Could buy a 3 year squaretrade.com warranty for $29.99. Per their website:

"SquareTrade provides warranties and insurance coverage plans for iPhones, iPads, laptops, and other electronics. We cover drops, water
damage, and all sorts of accidents. We're consistently rated five stars by customers for our quick and easy claims process. Our customers are the best."

one tuner that supports NTSC, ATSC and QAM

This is a good deal i will go to best buy this week.

can you put a two year warranty on it

can i trust the refurbished items though.

Thanks OP, perfect for my bedroom

Can someone please explain what this means or doesn't mean? I got this from SquareTrade FAQ site:
(looks like this t.v. is NOT coverable then, right? which sucks cuz that was my plan when I ordered one!)

Can I get coverage for my refurbished or used item?

Answer:SquareTrade offers Protection Plans directly for new items only. Some of our resellers offer Protection Plans on refurbished items, given that the item was also purchased through that reseller. Used items are only eligible when purchased on eBay.We do not cover used items from retail stores. We also do not cover any items, regardless of condition, purchased from classified ads, classifieds websites like Craigslist, or other person-to-person sales. Used items are eligible for a 1 year Protection Plan, and may be eligible for a second year for an extra fee. The Protection Plan on a used item begins on day 61 after purchase.

Keep in mind...if you are using this for the kitchen etc and just have a digital to analog convertor from Verizon Fios et al.You will not be able to hook this thing up...its all DIGITAL...no composite input...no s-video input....it will NOT work.

none in stock near me (long island NY)
