never had an ipad - looking to get one. If I don't use Cellular on it, is it a pain to just disable the cellular and get WiFi - because it's nice to have if you ever desire to get it. (you can't buy a kit)

The Verizon one, is unlocked GSM as well, but it only does 3G and HSPDA 4G when it is on a GSM carrier, its LTE on Verizon, the AT&T version is LTE on AT&T USA and perhaps LTE on Tmobile, when they roll it out on some frequencies, but no LTE overseas though. You can't use a an AT&T unit at all on Verizon.
