500 bucks for the core i7 3632QM (8 cores) is a darn good deal I think. Thanks OP for the post!

Isn't that 4 cores, 8 threads?

I picked one up for my mother in law. Its smoking fast compared to the i3 I use for work. I had one issue with the wifi device drivers. I had to plug into an Ethernet hard line and download a new driver from Dell. Now the wifi works perfect. I installed "Classic Shell" to get rid of all the Windows 8 Metro garbage. In looks like Windows 7 now with a regular desktop and start button.
