Wrong. This is the NEW one.

It's $250 after the $50 off coupon!

Any way to unlock this for use on T-Mobile or ATT?

I believe so, but you can't use MMS.

I believe this model also allows for wireless charging via the QI charging pads.

Can anyone confirm?

Can this phone be used on PagePlus?

No. PP will not take any LTE phone currently. Some have hacked Android LTE Verizon phones to disable LTE and get the CDMA portion active - the 8X I suspect can't do that with tools out there.

IIRC people have placed LTE devices on PP but since you can't *228 them, they only have 1x.

I do remember going to the store and trying to get the phone in DIAG mode with no luck.

On mobile or I would look around.

so, regarding this phone and page plus...

can it just be used for calls and text on pageplus?

and of course, wifi?

I only see the preowned available.... Am I missing something?

Never mind... It's there now.

Thanks OP. Love this phone.

No. Besides you would be better off with an HTC Trophy for $104 from CowBoom. WP 7.5, yes, but $150 cheaper and perfect for PP.

No, This is CDMA, not GSM. not compatible with Tmobile.

Dang... I waited and now the new one is gone again...

I think they may be out of the new phones. When I click on the (new $300) icon, it brings me to the used $250 phones.

can this be use with Straight Talk?

Actually that's not true. There are multiple posts about people using this on AT&T and T-Mobile.

Here's one LINK

Connection speed also depends on whether you're in a refarmed T-Mobile area.

Several posts say using MMS is a no-go on both AT&T and T-Mobile.

Yeah I think the new ones are gone. This was a really good deal, and a lot of people missed out because they thought it was for the USED version.

It's very likely we'll start seeing some similar deals as we get closer to Nokia's release of the 928 on Verizon. This deal was perfect for me because I wanted to check out the new Windows Phone environment WITHOUT getting locked into a new Verizon contract and losing my unlimited data plan.

No. ST Verizon only allows ST-branded phones. Net10 BYOD using Verizon devices is not compatible with LTE.

As I suggested to someone else, CowBoom has the HTC Trophy for $104 that would be a better fit, and is compatible with PP and Net10 BYOD.

From some of the review it seems 8X comes standard with GSM and CDMA and there are people who reported ATT sim works in Verizon (unlocked?)

I'm more confused now than ever. I'm thinking of Straight Talk but with ability to use local SIM card when traveling.
