Bizarre design, not a hot deal and not 3.0.

You can find 2.0 16gig drives all day long in stores for this price.

I disagree. Flash part prices have spiked in the last several months. While these have gone for less in the past, if you are in the market to buy now, this is actually a pretty good price, including shipping to your door. Please post some examples of the pricing you believe is so prevalent... don't forget to include shipping in your examples, if not free.

Cheapest price for 16GB at Newegg is $9.99 + $0.99 shipping...

See http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=4000... for a sorted list of Newegg offerings.

Adorama starts at $10.95 with free ship-- http://www.adorama.com/searchsite/default.aspx?searchinfo=16gb+u...

And at AMZN, this ultra-no-name unit is the cheapest with free ship option at $11.47-- http://www.amazon.com/Dolgix-16GB-USB-Flash-Drive/dp/B0081M7BFG/... Of course, there are plenty of "cheaper" ones from 3rd party sellers, but they are going to nail you on shipping.

Ok. Smoking deal. Buy now.

Sunday sales in big box stores are this price. Weekly. But you have your perspective.

Perspective? Or several major discount seller links? You're welcome to disbelieve... but all you have to do is click those links. Or, post your own links to show I am incorrect.

Sandisk Cruiser Blade 16GB were $9 at Staples.com last month. Flash drives may be going up in price, or they may not. SSDs certainly have been increasing in price. But various Big-box stores and Office-supply retailers are still running reasonable sale price. This price matches, but does not beat, those sale prices.
