Thanks OP. Looks like some good deals to be had. I welcome the return of penny items.

Nice. Looks like you can get the first three items listed by purchasing the $6.99 Multipurpose paper (that is $.01 after Rewards).

Just confirm/state:
SR = Staple's Rewards
SER = Staple's Easy rebate

Good call daz - and the paper can actually be used in contrast with most FARewards items.

Since this is FP, the use of coupons/rewards will reduce the rewards you get back on the ream paper. Better to buy the ream paper in its own transaction and use any rewards/coupons in another transaction.

This is a good point. Although using coupons/rewards don't help much w/penny items, it is possible the penny items may have some sort of 'instant coupon/savings' associated with it. If this is the case, it could be prorated across all items, causing the paper rewards to be diminished. This should easily be determined by inspecting the receipt after purchase.

maybe use 1 ream to buy with the 1 cent items...purchase ream #2 separately to reduce risk?

Front Page or whatever it's called on fw. Forum Page?

VivYip said:   ..maybe use 1 ream to buy with the 1 cent items...purchase ream #2 separately to reduce risk?The risk is using coupons/rewards in any transaction where you buy the ream paper. Proration is going to reduce the rewards you get back if you use coupons/rewards. You can buy additional 1 cent items with the second ream of paper as it meets the $5 minimum required.

Still no sign of FAR s/w . Will wait few more weeks to see when 2014 versions are released, 2013 will be FAR.

IDIK Staples back to school ads are AWAYS regional so YMMV on the timing of these 1 cent deals.

For the bold, QuickBooks Simple Start is FAR. Brother AIO 430 printer is back down to $59.99. McAfee TP is $9.99 AR.

Yes $90 MIR on Simple Start. Page 7 of next week's ad.

Unless they change things, the penny items will ring up $0.01 for the first two that you buy and any others will ring up at full price. Buy two at a time in separate transactions and don't use Rewards to pay.
1 Staples Multipurpose Paper
2 index cards
2 pkgs pens
2 pkgs erasers
pay $7.05+ tax and get back $6.98 in Rewards
repeat w/ 2nd ream of paper

Also, the 20% coupon is legit for 7/7 so use it to pay for the QB + sales tax and you have a MM. Not a whole lot of those deals these days w/o some slight of hand or coupons that not everyone has access to. The pain is in the followup for this rebate and the length of time to get it back.

Also, another MM is the McAfee 1 PC that is $9.99 after rebate. Buy the small box version IN THE STORE and look for the red subscription offer sticker on the outside of the box. $20 Always On rebate. Limit 5 per household. Use the 20% coupon on this product and MM with the Always On $20 rebate.
