My current subscription is good until 5/17. And it's been a couple years since I added any, so 5+ years is no issue.
When Maxim was being given away like condoms to college kids, I think some people had 15+ years worth.

I still have 2 and half years to go... the DiscountMagshelp page does talk about renewals but all it really says "Before you add a magazine to your cart, select the radio button "Renew my Subscription". Once the publisher receives the order, they will tack on the additional year(s) to your current account with them." I assume its unlimited.

I signed up for Popular Science about 3 months ago on a similar deal. Not the magazine I remember from the 1990's. About 1/3 as thick, fewer articles, and an obvious political slant in some of their articles. If I remember correctly I failed to renew my subscription 15 years ago because they were beating the drum of global warming in every issue.
I do like the new gadget articles though...but you can find most of this on the web without having to use up our precious trees to print this magazine.

In for two years of Wired. They didn't have the 3 year deal. Initially signed up for 1 yr, but was offered a second year for $8.99 and bit.

But "global warming" isn't political, it's... ya know... science.
