Confusing why some people are getting confirmations right away and others not (such as myself).

I bought Black and Decker CHV1410L 14.4-Volt Lithium Ion Dust Buster (59.99 - 10 (10 off 50 coupon) and SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MicroSDHC (16.99) and 2 more Add-on items for a total of 80 (74 + 6 tax). Paid with Amex card that is enrolled for the Amazon offer. All are sold and shipped by Amazon. The Amazon charge is showing on my account under Pending charges. But, NO email from Amex confirming the use of the card for this offer yet.
Tax probably doesn't qualify towards the $75 since it isn't going to Amazon therefore you spent $1 too little.

I had the offer under my blue cash but do not see it under my gold card. Any ideas how to get it on both?
deepakaaa said: 1) Go to https://sync.americanexpress.com/ to set up the sync with facebook, this includes linking a AMEX card with facebook 2) Go to facebook , on left hand side "Amex Sync" app is listed, click that. Then scroll down and add the offer from Amazon 3) Once offer is added, spend 75+ on Amazon and you are set! Go to your americanexpress account, there is a offer.

I don't think you need to sync with FB; this just showed up for me this morning on the Amazon.com site. I clicked on it and it took me to my AmEx login page. I logged in and it was available there to sign up for it. No FB involved.

My card said it was already Sync'd, so I logged in and added the offer at amex.com. Also found a couple of additional offers from BP, JCPenny, Amtrak, zappos and TigerDirect.

Not always but better to check there first. Otherwise use this link . No need to use faceblock or twistter.

Didn't show up when I scrolled down but then when I went to offers it was there. The fine print said that it will not be credited if you go to Amazon through a third party, so no double dipping with cb.
Thanks, op. I literally had 75 dollars worth of stuff in my cart when I saw this offer.
so here's an interesting thing-- I first synced via Facebook for one card (card #1), and then logged into the Amex APP, where the added offer was reflected. However, when I unsynced and added the offers to my other cards via FB, I do not see it when I log into Amex. FB/Amex sync allowed me to add the offers and unsync the card, and I did this with my other cards. Now here's a twist, I went back and re-synced a card (let's just call it #2) that I had already added the Amzon offer. It did not show up under already added offers (in the Amex app) so I tried "adding" it again, but it says that I had already added it! How odd! And checking back on Amex app only shows the offer loaded onto card #1, not also card #2.
Perhaps it's because I have all my cards under one account... but I do that in order to keep track of making sure i pay on time. So that's more worth it for me.
** update. I went into amex.com (website) and all the offers loaded through FB show up on each card. So it's a lack of congruency between the app and the .com site. But just FYI for you to double check the offer was actually appended to the card before you go and spend money you don't have.
RhizzleBop said: if between my wife and I we have 4 Amex accounts but we are both authorized users of each others accounts then does that mean we can get this deal 8 times as long as they have have unique cc numbers? Or is it really tied to the 4 accounts only?
I don't know about going through sync, facebook, etc., but IF the primary account holder has the offer listed on the amex website when you log-in, then you could set-up separate amex log-ins for every authorized user's card, and they will be able to get the offer to appear as well.
So, you can in fact get this for every amex card this way so long as the offer is good for the main card holder to begin with.

It seems if you sync directly from your account thru americanexpress.com and the offers tab you will get a email that it is tell you the card is synced and a email after the Amazon.com purchase has been made. (I did this with my SPG.) Although when you sync and resync cards thru twitter you will get a confirmation email showing the card has been synced with the offer, but I have not seen the email confirming the credit after the purchase.

For those that made a purchase on Amazon.com but don't see the charge under the Amex Pending Charges online. Go back to Amazon Order History and check if on this order you have Change Payment Method option to the right. Apparently, on my second Amexcard, after planing the Gift Cards order I wasn't seeing the pending charge on the AMEX side right away, so I looked around Amazon and stumbled on the order history screen and saw the "Change payment method" option, I've click it and there was an option to 'Retry Payment', which implies to me that the original attempt to charge the credit card must have failed. I clicked the Retry button and almost immediately saw the Charge in the AMEX Pending Charged section.
Couple minutes after the Pending charge posted on AMEX I got an email from Amex confirming fulfillment of the offer
Signed up 4 cards (2 Costco, 2 Blue cash), bought $75 e-gift card for each and received the confirmation email within 5 minutes for each. Thanks!

I purchased $75 email gift certificate and received a purchase confirmation email from Amazon immediately. About 1 minute later, I received the email gift certificate from Amazon. The charge shows as pending in my amex transactions as Amazon.COM LLC. The acknowledge email "Thank you for using your enrolled card!" arrived a few minutes later.
The above description is how all my previous amex offers have gone, and the statement credit has usually posted a couple days (1-3) after the amex acknowledgement email.

If i have multi-american-express cards, do I get N x $25?
posted: Dec. 1, 2013 @ 1:14p
Not to treadcrap, but just a quick question. I used Tiger direct 30/100 offer, but it still shows on my card as "offers available to you." Does it mean I can use it the second time? Anybody has any experience with that? Because previously, any offers I used would disappear form my card. Thanks a lot!
