It might be regional, but just in case, I've attached what I see.

Thanks, I found it... Looks like it is available in the Northeast too.

Now the question will be if they have the $100 off coupon!

Great formatting/write-up, VivYip.

Doesn't look like the best week, but I'm glad to see the FAR ream and photo paper continue.

Those USB flash drives are all USB 2.0, not 3.0, FYI.

Don't forget to use this week's 10% off coupon on Sunday and Monday!!

Jasonlh1 said:   Do you think the case paper coupon deal trick will work?
Does it still work with the new kiosks they've installed?

fantosho said:   Don't forget to use this week's 10% off coupon on Sunday and Monday!!
I haven't used that yet. Is it limit one per transaction? I have a $40 Reward certificate to use and figured I'd buy 2 of the photo paper and some of the multi-purpose to get rid of half (or more).

If the "order at kiosk pay in store manuever" still works and limit on the rebate is 2 could we get 2 cases + filler and use $10/$50 coupon?

yes

It says limit one per customer. I've never tried using more than one per transaction so I can't say for sure. It can't hurt to try though. It'll either go through, the register will reject it, or the cashier will refuse to take it, so there's no real harm in trying.

I used two 10% off coupons along with 4 paper coupons in one transaction. The two 10% coupons I had did have different "numbers" but they worked fine. Cashier said they might not work, but was happy to try. (I love seasonal employees at my Staples...)

I never thought about using two of the same coupon with different numbers before. Sounds like a good strategy to use, just in case you get a cashier that loves following the fine print to the letter.

How do I see next week's ad online?  I click "weekly ad", and then "browse by page".  "Now viewing" shows 12/8 with no option to select next week's ad.

Thanks.  I did see the pull down menu, but there was no 12/15 option.  I selected another store, and it worked.

There is a Multipurpose case BOGO Free coupon out today (code 54062) at http://www.staples.com/coupons/
Any thoughts on using this and one $25 off coupon (in ad) on a kiosk order of two cases?

Even using only the BOGO Free coupon would be slightly better than using two $25s.

I printed off copies of the 10% coupons and used them last week. But I still have a 10% coupon from the newspaper. Is this coupon usable?

VivYip: Thanks for pointing out the FAR/$.01 for the photo paper...I missed it when I was viewing the weekly ad!

"FAC/R
513099 Staples ® 8.5" x 11" multipurpose paper, 500 sheets/ream (update 12/15: limit 4, offer #13-80413, coupon wallet coupon does not have limiting wording)"

Also, the MIR form on Staple's Easy Rebate page specifies 'Limit 4 rebates per name/address/household' on this one as it has on the last several similar deals...

THANKS, Viv!

update: just came back from the store.

ordered online, paid at register
pretax subtotal: $103.98

at register, used B1G1 coupon....for some reason, it only took $26, so I also used the $25 coupon.

So, out of pocket: $103.98(+tax) - $51 in coupon = $52.98(+tax on $103.98)

AR: $52.98 - 2x$27EZR (offer 13-80502) = moneymaker, I think...

Hope this helps.

Additional update:
Yes, the BOGO Free code is worded incorrectly.  Code 54062 is in the system as a BOGO 50% off.  So as VivYip demonstrated, you can use this and a $25.  I actually used two $25s instead because I was not sure system would accept another coupon with the BOGO 50%, but either way works, and you saver an extra $1 by using the two different cpns.

Also, store manager (who offered to get me a bed in the back because I am there so much) said corporate is changing policy to eliminate the ability of store managers to manually push through coupons.  He could not honor the BOGO Free coupon wording, though would have in the past.  This guy likes me and appreciates all my business (even though Staples is not earning money off me), and has been very liberal about honoring deals in the past, so I trust what he says.

i had one of each coupon because i wasn't sure how the B1G1 would work (would it be $25 off each case, or would it a pure case off) so i printed both and brought both. When the "B1G1" coupon only took ~$26, I put the $25 coupon at the end and asked to try it anyway (at best, it'll be "applied" to the other case, at worst) my thinking was, if it didn't work, then i would REALLY push for the B1G1 wording...but since it worked, it was neat.

hope this helps. thanks drjofis for the heads up on the manager push info.

I was told that Staples loss prevention began purging (firing) managers who have a history of overriding coupons.

There are some friendly faces I haven't seen in a while...

Same story given at my local stores - system no longer allows managers the override ability to enter coupons on kiosk orders.

yep, same thing re: over-riding happened to me last week.  They said corporate had removed the option from the registers so even if manager wanted to, he couldn't override.

I got a question. I purchased over $100 HP ink online on Dec 10. Can I brings my empty cartridges to Staples for $4 each recycle?

Yup as I warned back in early November would be happening soon. It does not get any better as Staples is removing the grace period for expired coupons and enabling tracking usage of 5 digit coupon codes for Rewards members in their next POS update at the end of January. Rewards members will not be able to use the SAME 5 digit codes on multiple purchases.

So if we don't use our rewards number, we CAN use the same 5 digit code on multiple purchases?
Or are they going to track you by credit card number, too?

The case paper is buy one get one 50% off instantly this week. That's why the buy one get one free coupon only takes off $26.00.

Jasonlh1 said:   The case paper is buy one get one 50% off instantly this week. That's why the buy one get one free coupon only takes off $26.00.

Makes sense if you buy the cases in store.  For kiosk orders, the instant 50% does not apply automatically.  That is why it becomes an issue.

Rewards members will not be able to use the SAME 5 digit codes on multiple purchases.
So we will not be able to buy 4 reams of paper w. 4 coupons as offered this week?

I just left Staples.

I bought 2x photo paper, and 4x ream paper.

I had the cashier enter 28113, 4 times.

I see on the receipt that two of the times it applied it to the photo paper, and two of the times it applied it to the ream paper.

Does that make sense?

Could I have done it 6 times??

what is coupon 28113?
