710 points, that's high. Don't have that many anyway.

1.41 cents per point? Ouch.

710 pnts != free

The OP adding the word "free" to all of these posts is almost as annoying as him posting everything in bold type (and justifying it as being easier to read).

  Agreed....Deal is something you get for a bargain....based on data and experience...
OP,  this GC is not free or a steal. You are paying (a lot of )points for that...If the points were 50, then it was a deal...Heck it would have been a hot deal

I have a deal for you....Free.....in $1000 Staples GC...Just pay me in 1000000 Chase Ultimate rewards points...

OP is from Michigan, what more can you expect? Go Bucks.

  The newest annoying trend on the forum: a new user shows up and posts "thanks" to a dead thread, often times when it wasn't much a of deal to start with.

To mathfaster below: I see your point, but there's a flaw here. If you are getting an update on an expired thread, that's a problem on it's own. There's something wrong with the way you have your notifications set up, or the way they work. An expired thread just shouldn't send out a notification.

  Most annoying is the Master Clearance thread where this happens all the time. Just green the OP so the rest of us don't have to get notification of a thread update.
