  Thanks for clarifying.

If you are looking for the H&R Block Premier, the CD that came in the mail, has an offer for free Deluxe or $24.99 Premier. The date on it says expires 2/14, but I was able to get the deal just fine a few days back.

Give it a shot.

Off topic but I had a local tax preparer do mine for around $100. There was like four forms. H&R wanted that much just for one form. Call around and you can get it done quite reasonable. Get an estimate over the phone first, though.

Not sure what do you mean by 4 forms.  I did my taxes thru H&R Block Deluxe software (includes state) which I bought from Amazon for $25. My return was a total of 15 pages.  A lot cheaper that a preparer doing it!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not, but TaxACT Online Federal + State Return is $10.00 at TaxAct

Only found through Vanguard, Capital One and WellsFargo - $15-20 off.

Oh my god. tax!

I've used TaxAct for the last five years with no problems. The only thing different for me is that I really wanted to pay the state tax ($700) with a credit card because I needed the spending for a sign-on bonus. I watched closely throughout the process for the credit card option, and when not seeing it, I re-searched the site before finally E-filing anyway.

Just because of the fact that I could not dictate how I would pay my state taxes, I'm disappointed. It should be more intuitive than that.
