This light is heavy but has a great LED and light output for the money.

This looks very promising, but we need something to work with... SKU, link, photo of store price tag.

I bought the competing version for $16 (was $24) back in the fall at HD; Looks very similar, though the one I picked up runs on 3 "C" cells, where I'm guessing this one runs on 3 "D" cells - based on the part number.

Excellent light for the price point - and easy to feed in a power outage (common batts vs rechargeable unique batteries).

The store near my shows 7 of the OP's version in stock - might be time for a few more.

This flashlight comes with the 3 D cells needed and is available in numerous Home Depots in the Maryland suburbs of Washington. I saw them this afternoon. The newer model is supposedly 1000 lumens and is on sale for around $30. So this is a great buy.

The features that make this light a keeper
- Side switch as opposed to the tail switch on many other designs
- 375 Meter throw, that is hard to believe
- Comes with 3 D cells for large capacity, 14 hours is hard to believe
- Could be used as a weapon
- At this size it may not grow legs like the smaller lights

What I don't like
- Heavy
- Long
- Blinding !

Any older incandescent flashlights you may have are obsolete.
This generation of LED flashlights are impressive.
At this price it is hard to find something that compares.

I agree completely on all points. When it's off, it's a formidable club. When I take it out at night, it looks like a lightsaber, unless it's pointed in your direction, then it's blinding.

The 3 C cell version last year was a better light due to its larger reflector.
That super thrower was well received by the experts in the groups that collect these.
The 1000 lumen model for $30 is a 3 led light with a 3 cone reflector. That is a nice light too but this one has a tighter spot and compares well.
