paper camera and camera zoom are really Good.

FYI, Paper Camera is free now and earned 100 coins for my free purchase.

rated:
Nice! Also, you get 100 Amazon coins for each "purchase" so you can get other apps as well.

rated:
Sweet ,I'll try this friday

rated:
Nice deal, the free Amazon coins make it worth getting the free app regardless if you will ever use the app.

rated:
yep, just got a $1 credit added to my account for downloading a free app. Green for you, OP.

rated:
thanks OP. got each one and added that many 100 coins for each to my account. i just asked it to deliver app to my cloud. will try one by one when i have time to experiment

rated:
Thanks OP. 900 free coins!!!

rated:
thanks op.

rated:
Thank you! I use coins for in app purchases, I'm ashamed to admit. Better than real money though.

rated:
Bummer, could have used this yesterday on the 2000 free coins deal.

rated:
I used to use PicShop and that app worked for me pretty well. You can customize your photos and whatnot.

Tip, use 699 of the free coins to buy Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and get 2000 coins ($20 value):

it says it right under the $6.99 price tag.  my question is if there is anything else that gives 2000 coins?  my devices aren't compatible.  although still worth it to get 2000...

Used my coins to buy this, even thoug I don't have a compatible device.    Says I earned the 2000 but they are not showing up in my account yet

edit:    Took about 10 minutes, but now they show up.    Awesome, just. Earned about $23 in app coins today

Anyone else getting charged 199 coins for this instead of 699? I noticed that my points increased by 1784 after I purchased it so I looked at my order and it shows:
Item(s) Subtotal: 699 coins
Promotions: -500 coins
----
Total Before Tax: 199 coins
Tax Collected: 17 coins
----
Total for this Order: 216 coins

I now have over $40 worth of points and have no clue what to spend it on, lol.

UPDATE: I figured out why, I completely forgot that I bought that on Amazon local.
orthros said:   Super hot.  $20 in coins for $7.

Actually, $2 if you got in on the $5 Amazon voucher deal from earlier this week.... hard to find something this smokin'.  Thanks OP.

Coins can also be used to buy MP3s. (Edit: No they can't.) Probably streaming movies too, but I haven't bought any of those from Amazon.

And if anyone is contemplating Minecraft (has a 7-year-old who has been begging for it), you'll get 350 coins back. Not enough to make it free, but a good use of some of these 2300-ish coins.

This is the sort of thing that has kept me a loyal Fatwallet fan for years-

  • free shampoo (Panteen & Target rebates overlapping)
  • make $5 buying a portable DVD player at Radio Shack (2 $50 rebates overlap for 1 day)
  • $400 off a flat panel TV at Best Buy (if you buy a stereo-in-a-box & an HD DVD player, which you could return, and sign up for Dish, which you could cancel)
  • pointers on where to bag 35%, 25%, and 20% Microsoft CashBack on eBay back in the day

and now

  • free money from Amazon that stacks and builds!

Happened to me too.  There was a promo a few days ago for $5 of app store credit, I believe that is the 500 coin promo.  So far, I've turned nothing into 2601 coins.  Sweet!

Looks like they all will expire 31 May 15.

  You are correct. Per Amazon:
Promotional Coins expire on the last day of the calendar month one year after we give them to you (for example, Promotional Coins we give you on May 15 will expire on May 31 of the following year).

rated:
well which one is it?
it says"Get 2,000 Amazon Coins
From now until June 11th earn 2,000 Coins ($20 value) back when you buy Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Use your Amazon Coins to pick up Grand Theft Auto III, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City or other apps and games. To learn more about Amazon Coins, click here."

auto 3, San Andreas or vice city?  Are they the same game with different names?

 I didn't get charged tax:

Promotions: -500 coins
----
Total Before Tax: 199 coins
Tax Collected: 0 coins
----
Grand Total: 199 coins

You buy GTA:SA and get the coins. Then you can buy the others with the coins. RIF.

Here's another one...

Sonic: spend $3.99, get 200 back. This is fun!

How do I check my coins transactions on Amazon?

rated:
Many of the apps on Amazon come with free coins right now. Spending $2.99 for $.90 is no deal...but if this is hot to you, then there are hundreds of the same deals.

rated:
WOW!
Great deal and so easy.  I picked up the 9 free apps to get 900 coins.
Spent 699 of those coins to get GTA, and got 2000 more coins.
3 minutes of clicking for a net result of 2201 coins = $22.01 free to spend on things with coins at Amazon.  AWESOME!!

LOL, this quickly turned into a "gettin some coinz" thread (and deservedly so) but I have used Photo Studio Pro, TouchReTouch and Paper Camera and they are all great apps. I used Paper Camera to make the design for t-shirts that I gave to family members for Christmas last year. They looked fantastic even though it felt weird to be using images that I only loaded onto my computer after they were finished.

And even if you already have the apps from the Play store, you can re"buy" them from AZN and it counts (and gives you the coins).

I am intrigued to see what purchasing a GTA title does to my "recommended for you" feed.

Minecraft Pocket gives 350 coins back on a 699 coin purchase, not a bad way to spend 349 of those freebie coins.

RKBA said:   Coins can also be used to buy MP3s.
I don't see any documentation or other evidence of that.  How does one do it?

Amazon's help page says:
---
You can redeem Amazon Coins for eligible apps, in-app items, and games on your device, and apps and games on the Amazon Appstore on Amazon.com.
---

Nothing about songs or movies.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 cost 299 coins and earn 240 back for those who like to get the game anyway.

one question... does installing these, open the door for Tons of Ads?

Have you tried it from a Kindle? (I haven't.)  I know it doesn't work from a computer, but sometimes deals like this work from Kindles when they won't from computers.

I know I've used some kind of Amazon credits on Amazon video that wouldn't work from the PC but worked from the Kindle. Not sure if it was coins or not.
