I updated the OP so it is less confusing. You get the $15.50 instant savings,  $20 off with the coupon code, then $15.00 off by clicking on the blue "coupon" link and adding your email address, and then another $20.00 off with the rebate.

Seems like there are just a few people around who have not experienced any issues with this drive. I would probably use it for porn.

I have 4 of these ST3000DM001 drives in a Windows 2012 server along with two 3TB Toshibas, using storage spaces to span volumes with parity for music and video and volumes using 3 way mirroring for more important stuff across the drives, because I've heard these are prone to failure (and I've had these drives fail in other contexts). No problems yet and they've been running non-stop for about a year in a well-cooled enclosure. At this price, I will order another as a spare for the inevitable failure.

Great deal guys, WOW.

These 3TB seagates are probably the most solid 3TB 7200RPM HD out there.

I have 4 of them in a 5-bay NAS. No issues at all.

And I'll be filling that 5th slot now thanks to this

Anybody have experience with Tiger Direct on the quality of how they pack and ship their hard drives?

the email coupon code is off of a 100 purchase...when I start to checkout, the total at checkout is 89.49 plus tax and the email coupon does not kick in????

rated:
Good deal. Essentially 20 bucks cheaper than anything close. Sucks that hard driver prices have been in limbo since the flood. Guess it's better than ddr3 sky rocketing

Apply the $15 coupon first  then add the drive to your cart

make it more sweeter by using Amex 15 CashBack when you spend 50 at TigerDirect
124.49-20(instant)-20(MIR)-15(Tiger code)-15(amex CashBack)= 54.49

Do you actually need to include a UPC with the rebate? I can't quite tell from this horrible form.

Apply the $15 coupon first  then add the drive to your cart

That's the way I did it and it shows up in cart at $109.49 ..

Items: $124.49
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Order Discount: - $15.00
Sales Tax: $0.00 Order Total: $109.49

THEN you add the coupon code and viola! $89.49 and HOPE that TD honors the $20 rebate once you get the drive.

I filled out the rebate online and printed, and also submitted it by email.  I guess it still has to be mailed in.  Proof of purchase requirements....signed rebate form...original Invoice...I did it through paypal, so Tiger Direct says I have to get my invoice through Paypal....wonder if this will screw up the rebate?????

Not sure what you mean. It says quite clearly at the bottom of the form:

~~Please locate the (Proof of Purchase) barcode label on your product box or shipping box similar to the one below. Cut out the barcode label and attach to form

I'm taking that as a yes you need the UPC included.
