Item title was too long it got cut off. I'll see if I can edit it to make it fit and make sense.

spec don't mention 802.11 ac.

This is Linksys EA6500-RM model, if you read the specs from manufacturer, it is 802.11 ac

This retailer has skimped on the specs.

The Linksys EA6500 is the first in the Linksys EA series that support 802.11ac, preceding the Linksys EA6900 above. In my testing it was disappointing, even after a major firmware update, in most categories. In fact, it was inferior to the lower-end Linksys EA6400, which has been the only decent 802.11ac router in the Linksys EA series.   Thanks for answering that ChocoBean!  I have to check the manufacturer page a lot for gear due to retailers having inconsistent and missing specs.

Thank you for the post! Ordered one on the 8th, installed on the 13th and rebate processed on the 21st.

As for the EA6500, I just setup the router/wireless name & passwords, put it in bridge mode and let it do its thing. Works like a champ.

Thanks Again!
