weren't these on the woot sellout a couple of days ago?

EDIT: from what I remember, those on woot were about 37 after shipping

NOT!! •1-Yr battery life (50 hours) or more on Alkaline batteries

NOT for me. WE have them on our porch and need to replace batteries monthly. Problem: They stay on too long once activated. They should shut off quicker when motion stops.
Great little lights if you can afford the batteries

  Question, if I may, since you have them:
It states both a hallway light and directs a beam of light down stairs in the Wiki.  So, does it shoot more of a direct beam of light (like a flashlight) or is it a surrounding lumination (like a lamp light)?  And how far would you say it illuminates?  (Obviously, 10 lumens isn't bright enough to read a book on the other side of the room.   But would it provide a little light in a completely dark room, say, 10-15 feet away?)
