I have waited and called in 4 times to get a rebate resubmitted to me after 6 months. So two months is OK by my standard.

my order got shipped today, i used a coupon, and i just got a FatCash notice for my purchase
even for the full amount! (before coupon)

This OfficeMax deal is a headache. Apparently they changed their policy where you cannot use coupons with instant rebate deals, so they tell me.

I placed an order last night with the whole peachtree thing for $250, so I can use a $50 off $250 online coupon that was emailed to me, which ended telling me the 'Coupon Code Was Invalid'. So I called customer service, and they told me to (for some strange reason) place the order first and THEN give them the invalid code. This was questionable, because if the code was invalid and doesn't work, I didn't want the friggin order.

Instead, the service rep says give me the code and I'll forward this order with the questionable code # to our other blah blah blah department and email you a confirmation about "it". About what?

So I wake up this morning, and get a confirmation, as they said. But, it has absolutely no mention of the coupon, or the phone call, but insetad just says my order went through for the full price of $250 plus tax.

See, they completely disregarded the fact that I told them over the phone that I DIDNT WANT THIS ORDER IF THERE WAS NO DISCOUNT.

So I call them back. Then this new service rep tells me "Oh I'm Sorry, We Don't Take Coupons For Offers That Have Rebates In Them." So then I ask them, why did it say 'My Coupon Code Was Invalid' even BEFORE I added any items with rebates? SHe was stumped, and made up some crap that annoyed me and forced me to cancel the retarded order. And to prevent this stupid confirmation email thing again, I asked her can I have a cancellation confirmation, and she told me there is none. So I had take her name down (Trisha is her name by the way, who was quite rude, if you care), and that was that.

I'm staying away from OfficeMax for quite a while.

The coupon is CASE sensitive, so you might try again if you believe the coupon is valid

I Ordered last night using the 40/200 coupon, it worked fine... got a bunch of clearance filler, stuff i can 'maybe' use.

Did anyone notice that if you go to the OfficeMax rebate center (click rebates link at OfficeMax home page) and print your $165 Peachtree rebate, this rebate (non-pdf) doesn't ask for serial number and registration, etc.. Odd?

u guys have a number for the peachtree rebates center because I bought one on 10/28/2005 and haven't received anything but I do have copies of everything I sent in please let me know thanks

The Network Magic rebate still doesn't show up on-line. But I got the following information on the rebate at B&M:
1) The "with tax software purchase" requirement allows the items to be purchased separately from separate stores. So if like me you bought tax software elsewhere on another deal, you can still do the rebate.
2) You include the original UPC from the Network Magic box and a UPC copy from the tax software box, plus a copy of both receipts.
3) Requests must be postmarked by 1/27/06.
4) Rebate goes to Avanquest in Elk Grove, CA.
5) For questions about your rebate, call 1-800-325-0834.

For me, the total before coupon of Network Magic and Peachtree was $205 +tax, so I was able to use my $40/200 coupon expiring 2/11 that was mailed to me. Network Magic shows "backordered", with a 1/17 delivery date. (Note: If the delivery date pushes the 1/27 postmark date, you can cancel and still get the pro-rated coupon value for the Peachtree.)The $40 Network Magic rebate --- LINK -- is now on the OfficeMax rebate web site.

We got in on this deal a couple years ago and had no problems. Hopefully I can do it again and this time do the Upgrade one as well. Hopefully they don't check and invalidate one of them. Make $20 that way. Then if Ican find a $40 off $200 coupon I can make 40 more.

Anyone have a 40 off 200 they won't be using? I posted mine in the One Time Use Coupon forum before I realized this deal was on...

Any way to get OfficeMax.com to list all the items currently that have rebates?
