really? I got in postal mail from Wired to subscribe $10 for one year, so maybe it's safer then...

thx, OP!

Do they really do that???

Thanks!

thanks op

Like 2nd poster, used PayPal to ensure that I'm not renewed at full rate next year.
Normally buy Wired at Airport for $6.

Thanks op green for you!
I have had no problems with this company so far I ordered U.S. News and have already gotten my 1st issue

I'm in for one. Hope it comes ! Thanks OP !

I've order 2 other mags from here and they've both come. Never seen any autorenewal mumbo jumbo.

Thank you. I've wanted Wired for some time now. I would have gone for 2 years had I seen the post before ordering. Oh well...no biggie.

Thanks OP et. al.

darn it I tried to buy it from that eBay guy but just as I was entering my paypal info it was sold out. I did a search and bought from auctioninstead

ty op

good luck ordering from them
anything i ordered never came
scam artists all the way. thanks god my credit card company reverted everything.

Thanks for the tip! My sub just ran out this month. I use MBNA, so I created a "virtual" credit card with a 2 month expiration, and a $2 spending limit.

Been waiting for a good deal on this mag. Thanks. Happy New Year

HOT if it comes! Thanks OP -- I've been wanting to get wired for some time now.. and $2 is too cheap to pass up

Josh

thanks finally got a wired subscription!

Didn't wired automatically renew people and send them to collections agencies a while back?

Oh, that's right, yes, they did.

(Ok, the North Shore Agency is really just a bunch of thugs who send out letters and can't really ding your credit, but hey.)

Wired is a great magazine. I don't know about their renewal policy and don't care since I always renew via magazinevalues.com or NetMagazines.com.

$2 for a whole year is crazy. Then again, these magazines don't live on subscription money.

Let's see... what's 15% of $1.99....too much numbers forget it.

In, thanks OP!

Good find!! Thanks OP. Pay via paypal.

As if I'm not wired enough already *hic*
I'm in! Paypalsucks payment(not that I trust them at all - but I have a few $$ there from some eBay sales)

Needed something a little more techy than Esquire in the toid.
Prec Op!
Thank you - and a very prosperous 06'

passivex,
I work in the publishing industry and I can tell you for a fact-you are right. Magazines are paid for by
the advertisers, not the subscribers. If Wired carried no ads, it would cost you 10 times what it does.

In. Thanks, OP.

I'm in... Thanks.

Thanks a lot, been waiting for this magazine!

Thanks--gotta renew our sub as well. We *heart* this mag!

IN, thanks

Still works!

I picked up 3 years for $3.99 a few days ago as a gift for my father (I already get Wired). Got Stuff + Maxim, 3 years each, $2.99 total for both too. eBay is the way to go for magazines

No order confirmation yet. Feh.

I have ordered a dozen subscriptions from NetMagazines over the past few years, for myself and as gifts. No problems, great prices.
