How are you so sure? Last time they offer me 10% bonus for ink purchase. But I later found out that was within the quarterly limit.

hot2004 said: No, No. It's separate. No relation with quarterly purchase. It's in addition to the quarterly purchase. You will get additional reward check by mail up to $100 as 10% purchase for this period.

From what I can make out, you get credit for everything you purchased during the week, even if you sign up AFTER the fact.

Signed up successfully.

Now you will get an extra reward on purchases. That's on top of the rewards you already earn!

Use your customer number, every time you make a purchase in-store, by phone and enter it in your online Account at Staples.comŽ to get credit for your purchases. And don't forget, you get all your phone and online orders delivered FREE, no matter how much you spend.

So get started - shop online now or find your local Staples store.

Edit: I didnt receive any invitation (yet).

A hard drive qualifies for the 10%. A whole computer does not.

People who are able to sign up, are they from Chicagoland (Chicago, 'burbs of Chicago and NW Indiana) only....?

Or are there folks from other areas who have been able to sign up?

Your customer number has a dash and a number after that at the end. You need to type in the whole number without the dash and it will take. If you try to put in the dash, it will give you the "Not Chosen" error message. I did it both ways and it took it the second time.

Sort of OT, but along the same lines, does anyone know if this is possible for the regular Staples Rewards Program?

Example, let's say I join the Rewards Program in October 2005. I make over $2000 worth of purchases online/instore WITHOUT using my Rewards #. So I can add all those receipts manually at staplesrewards.com. Except, 1) you only get up to $15/quarter for the basic account. 2) If you spend over $1000 in a (calendar?) year, you get bumped up to the Rewards Gold program, which gives you $30/quarter and 5% back instead of 2%. I should've opened two separate accounts back then, but didn't think I'd be spending $2000 at Staples (of which the Infocus was $600).

So, is there anyway of retroactively opening an account under a separate name so that $1000 of those purchases can be manually credited for Q4 2005?

I would call Staples Rewards 1800 number, but I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Thanks.

If you said so, I believe it. One of a few people here really knows Staples
Just sent myself a note to follow up in 6 wks. Bought a printer yesterday and signed up today. No matter what they say, will call them up tonight to make sure it's good. Otherwise, return and rebuy. 10% of purchasing price is huge. Also see this one: "You will receive your Bonus Reward Check in February."
