Not elgible for prime and incurs $2.99 additional shipping charge.

Nice find either way OP! thanks.

If you want a good deal on Fiesta ware, but don't want the red just keep watching Friday sales etc....$11/place setting is a pretty standard great price on Amazon.

Usually they'll have the 4 place setting with 5th free on bonus deal for about this price...seems like it happens several times a year....so if you really want another color I'd hold out...

Thanks!!in for one

I'm in for the Corelle Hearthstone set (x3). I've been eyeing this on Amazon for quite a while now after I saw it in person at a Corelle Outlet store. It's HEAVY (stoneware) and looks very high-quality! Best of all, it is dishwasher, microwave and OVEN safe... nothing like a sizzling steak on a warm plate! Price tag? $59.99. I was hoping for the black/white set, but for $25, balck/red is fine with me. Wooohoo!

I purchased 2 of these sets last year and I must say that the quality is excellent! I just ordered another set because these sets don't go on sale for under $25 on Amazon.com very often. I keep looking for the $24.99 sale on these sets and when they have another sale (on different colors) I'll be all over that one too. Thanks OP!

That it is! I ordered the black & white set last year from Amazon and it was delivered by a trucking company that called first. It was delivered by semi truck, lol! The delivery had to cost more than the item. Only item I've ordered from Amazon that didn't come via FedEx, UPS or USPS. The set is marvelous though, I love the look and luckily, the dinner plates just fit in my cupboards.

Another good place to find these, other sets, and complimentary items are Corelle outlet stores. There's almost always some discount coupon available from their site, and some sort of sale going on at the store (if you've got one in your area). I picked up 2 Pink Trio service for 4 sets along with 8 "luncheon" plates and ended up spending about $80 after discounts and coupons.

Just a head's-up here~ I have a regular set of Corelle~ which are great. However, the coffee mugs are this same heavy stoneware. In just over a year's time, the mugs have chipped like mad. I hand wash (no dishwasher) & the mugs are only handled by myself & my husband.

FYI,

Mom

Most of Correlle 16/20 piece can be found in WalMart for $22- $25. I myself is looking for corelle but no outlet near me. WalMart sells for $22 which is selling around $37-$47 at Amazon.

oops, they ARE mw and oven safe.

I tried to pick up the box to see the UPC at the store and it was really HEAVY! Amazon lists it at 31 pounds!

I also like the fact that you can mix and match the colors to change the look of your dining table at your whim...
This set with the green and yellow plates look great!

Corelle has a One Year Break or Chip Warranty on the Hearthstone Line:

http://www.corelle.com/index.asp?pageId=71

World Kitchen, Inc. ("WKI") will replace any item of CORELLE HEARTHSTONE dinnerware that breaks or chips within ONE YEAR from date of purchase with the exact or comparable item. The new item will not be covered by this warranty...

Great deal on the Corelle Hearthstone! I had been eyeing the royal set on Amazon for awhile. Sadly, I just can't find a way to justify this purchase as I have dishes already.

This is a fab price but...I have to let it go....

For those who already have this set, do you store them in your overhead cupboards? I am a bit worried about the weight. 31 lbs. x 3 sets = 93 pounds! Maybe the bottom cabinets would be more appropriate?

This came to my attention a couple of weeks ago when a friend told me about how his cupboard/cabinet fell right off of the wall (he had regular weight dishes, too). Although, upon closer inspection, he noticed it was only being held up by 4 screws!

Well, crap! Trying to decide if I need red to go with my black and white ones, and it's over. The price is now $41.99!

pshh, same here. the dissapointment of my day.

earlier it was said that these could go in an oven and indeed Amazon site claims that. however, the literature that accompanies these clearly says you cannot put these in any oven with elements that directly radiate to these dishes such as toaster ovens and/or most conventional ovens.
