I am in Palm Beach County, Florida I have the Best Buy ad. beginning 2/5 and ending 2/11, in my hand (yes, I have two hands, but only need one to hold the ad.) Adding some items:
Toshiba Satellite laptop model L25-S1216. $400 OUT THE DOOR. Yes.
Celeron M380 256mb ddr2 40gb hard drive DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive ATI Radeon Express 200M Built-in 80211b/g 15"
from what ive read on other BB threads, starting in 2006, there are no more MAIL IN REBATES on laptop computers, all are instant rebates.

Any idea/expeience with BestBuy policy regarding return-rebuy on Sunday morning...Expecting the stock to be real low come Sunday morning....I think it is a great price point for Father-in-law browsing/gaming (solitaire) machine
And according to my local best buy, this is an ONLINE order item only - IT IS NOT carried in the stores.
Can anyone confirm this? Or refute it (hopefully).
Either way - my BB had none.
In stock all around me.

Click "Protect your investment" on the top right, add it to your cart, then remove the service plan, then check out. If the laptop is in stock at your local stores, you will have the option to purchase with in-store pickup.

Do the Javascript trick, noobs. Ordered 2 for in-store pickup, one for eBay to defray the cost.

I just saw a scan of the 2/5 Ad for BB and its showing the price at $449 out the door. Anyone else seeing this? Still a hot deal though. Sadly this is $70 more than blackfriday for pretty much the same notebook.
