Its not too much of a thrilling deal, but PlanetGameCube reports that you can order a copy of DDR:Mario Mix directly from Nintendo and they'll wave the shipping fees for a limited time only.
Quote: However, by calling Nintendo directly at 1-800-255-3700, interested individuals may order the game to be shipped directly from Nintendo. After calling the number, press 0 to be routed to a Customer Service Representative, and ask about the availability of Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix.
I know there are some people still looking for this, so I guess it's something to consider at least...
They are all buying for resale so I thought I would post it here since they always complain about resellers. Oh the irony. Goes for $120 on eBay if you're so inclined. It's also a fun game to actually play.

This deal is for people who actually had a problem getting their copies last year when the game first came out. This is Nintendo fill existing orders...
HOWEVER....with that said, mine's coming in the mail today
Great find, OP! My daughter wanted this when it was first advertised, but we never did find it. When talking to the customer rep on the phone, she said that the game is being released again in April. According to her, Nintendo had a problem with demand. She said that I could order over the phone and it would be shipped free to me, to arrive in the next 3-8 days. Obviously, I placed the order instead of waiting until April so I could pay tax too!
FYI, the 49.99 price includes the game AND the dance pad. This really is a great deal if you have kids that like this sort of game. And as the OP said, resellers are trying to get $100+ on eBay for it, so thanks for letting us know we can get it for $50 shipped directly from Nintendo.
Is the dance pad that comes with this game high quality? Also are additional pads available? I know there are third party pads that presumably work with this game. Final question: What other games are available that can make use of the dance pads? I just got a gamecube a week ago and I'm not up on all this stuff yet.

Most 3rd party pads are junk (especially the ones on eBay). The exception to that is the Cobalt Flux but at $300 plus shipping it's only really for hardcore players. There is some other dance game for Gamecube, MC Dance Groovz or something like that but it's supposedly horrible. If you already have a PS2, that is the system to own for DDR games IMO. Combined with imports there are over 40 available DDR games for PS1 and PS2.

Saying everyone there is buying for resale is a pretty bad generalization...
Thank you so much OP; I searched high and low for this during the Christmas season to no avail. When I spoke with the CSR, he asked me if I'd gotten an e-mail. I told him I hadn't but a friend of mine who had also been searching for the game had, and told me about it. There was no problem placing the order. BTW, the CSR mentioned that the game should be available in stores in May.
Normally I don't care about ratings but I find it funny that danorthface rated this neg and dead while he's trying to sell the info on eBayhere. BTW, Nintendo may stop this soon, so I would order now if you want to make sure you get one.

He doesn't want people to know about it so he can make $ - that's why.
Just called NoA, apparently I can pick up in person from the NoA Headquarter in Redmond, WA, which is only one mile away from my house. Gonna walk over there to pick it up. yay!
