Hope it's not a respost, didn't come up in a search anyway. Saw this in a full page ad in USA Today. Probably not the best deal but not too shabby either. Retail Pre-Savings: $1234.00
Inspiron E1505 (Dell Home) Inspiron 6400 (Small Business) (Doesn't appear to work despite what the ad said)
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display Intel® Core™ Duo processor T2300 (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB) Windows XP Media Center Edition (for Home Customers) Windows XP Home Edition (For Small Business) 1GB Shared DDR2 SDRAM 80GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive CD/DVD BUrner (DVD +/- RW) Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 Dell Wireless 1390 802.11b/g Mini Card (54Mbps) 53 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery 1 Year Limited Warrany, Mail-In Service, Hardware Warranty Support FREE Shipping & Handling (3-5 Day)
No profit on Fleabay. Good for personal. Heck I got a 9400 for 800 bucks for personal with UXGA and the 19inch 200 dollar monitor for dual setup. No resale value but quite happy for personal use.
couldn't agree more, there were 2 previous EPP deals for the E1505 heck you might get a killer deal on fleabay with the barrage of these things there for personal use, this is pretty dun good
I sold my last 4 E1505's this weekend for a total profit of $60 after shipping and fees. I am staying as far away from these E1505 deals as I can for awhile.

I saw some e1505's go for sub500 on eBay. I am sure alot of people overdid their buying and are scrambling now to figure out a way to dump these and not lose.

I have two E1505. Originally for resale. Now they are for personal use to justify the purchase.
The list of items from resale to personal use is getting longer and longer! LOL!

I made about $150 total on 6 machines. Very disappointed...EPP Deals used to be a lot better (less users)

The intel wireless is better than Dell's. Worth the upgrade.
great deal for a typical user. Anyone know if there are any extra offs for extended warranty? Sort of like the old EPP deal where you get 3/4 year warranty and get a special rebate.

how would this be playing counterstrike source?...
Bought one last week, specs identical save for better wireless card on mine, with shipping $825. Called Dell and they matched the price, save the $35 coupon I used on the original purchase. So they're refunding me $39 once the compy arrives. Good stuff! Thanks

You can. I tried it on a similar set up before. But don't expect anything close to what a GeForce 7900GTX Go card can take you.

so is that without upgrading the video card? About how many fps can you get? I'm fine with at least 30 fps, but will I have to upgrade the card? and if yes, which upgrade should I get?...

yeah I actually ordered one of those last week and canceled it during the boxing stage...as long as it hasn't shipped you're fine...it's kind of a pain calling them though...they are slow and sometimes put you on hold forever......

Quick, cancel before they ship, I waited tool long on a group of orders and ate it big time with 15% restocking fee (over $500), sorry I did it.

If you have coupons or whatever.. the PCMagazine deal is still available for $999 base. Just search for E1505PC in the products. You can add % off coupons/$ off coupons or whatever.
