WTF?!!! $20.24 for 1 SD card S/H to PR via USPS? That's about $15.00 TOO MUCH (it takes ONLY $4.05 postage for Priority Mail for about 2-3 of those SD cards w/blister packaging, and less than $3.00 for 1-2 cards via 1st Class Mail), that's even more than Express Mail (~ $15.00 for up to 2 cards w/blister packaging).
Someone has been VERY NAUGHTY padding those profits...
Just simply I'll pass... |

$3.99 to CONUS, is reasonable. |

I think 3.99 for shipping is reasonable too. You have to consider the total shipped price of these deals. $9 for a 512 MB card shipped is a sweet deal in my book. I can remember when an 64 MB SD card shipped was $15 (and that was only about a year ago).
The price of high capacity memory cards is coming down for sure. Some people paid $100 or more for these cards not too long ago. |

I don't even want to remember how much my SD and XD cards cost when I purchased my first digital camera.
I would never have imagined buying a 1gb card back then. |

Hey Guys,
Can one of you briefly explain to me what a 'write-speed' is? I'm a camera-newbie, and I really don't get what the difference is with 40x sd cards, versus extreme sd cards? Do brand names really matter when it comes to these things? if we buy some cheap old brand, will it not save our pictures correctly or something? |
