Kind of hard to filter through the spanish on the rebate form. $40 gift card if you don't get any of your requested games. Wish I could stomach going to a Cubs game this year.

Exactly...that form gave me a headache. I don't know if I really want to see a Pirate game either.
Seems like a Hot Deal to me. Just list all Red Sox/Yankees games and you should be pretty much guaranteed to get a $40 gift card. If they somehow come up with tickets, then you will have 2 tickets worth a lot more than $40!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just pick 5 games that are already sold out. There are no restrictions on the "home team" having to be near you, in fact they even state that travel expenses are the consumers responsibility.

Checking eBay, a pair of RS/Y tickets are going for ~$30. Also, the rebate form says that your 5 requested games are not guarenteed and they will give whatever tickets they have available. They will only give out a $40 GC once all tickets are exhausted.
Still a good deal and I think I'll check it out in store tonight.

Thanks OP!
Find me a pair of RS/Y tickets in Fenway park for $30 and I will buy as many as you can find. Heck, find me a pair of tickets for any team in Fenway Park for $30 and that would be a great deal!!

FYI...
Requests for rebate must be: • Made on an original rebate form, available at participating The Home Depot® stores. The rebate form must be filled out in its entirety as requested on the document. • Accompanied by the original sales receipt, with applicable items clearly circled or highlighted. • Sent to “The Home Depot Major League Baseball Ticket Promotion”, P.O. Box 981123, El Paso, TX 79998-1123, and received no later than 11:59PM EST on 6/27/06.
Seems like an easy way to get a $40GC. Pick any Cards/Cubs games or RSox/Yankees. If you somehow do get these tickets (and you are outside of the area), you can make a killing on eBay selling pencils
