Started to order one using FW and clicked the new customer for its discount...when I went to checkout, the discount banner at the top of the checkout page disappeared. Do you need to call customer service to get it to combine? Their help link says that the discount banner will still be atop of the checkout page and then the discount will appear at in the total...if the banner isn't at the top, then it says that the discount doesn't apply.
Is it because you lose out on the new customer discount? (Need some tips on the mechanics of checking out of I'll get a CSR to help me...).
The good thing I found out was there's no tax charged unless in IN or (one other) but not CA. That's good.
BTW: if you're like me and not in a rush, consider thom's article that speaks to the inevitable upgrade paths that Nikon moves (I know...it's like computer systems, but expect that in digital)...here's the article: thoms...roadmap as he sees it (revision 6-24-06)
Still a great deal for the D50. |

youngbilly said:Is the shut counter called:"Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera"?. Mine is one. If that is the case, how can it be? That is to say it has never been used. Strange.
Where is the best place to get a 18-200 VR lens?
I got mine yesterday and the shutter releases is showing one as well . |
