sinik said:Mine rang up $69.99, then the cashier followed the coupon instruction to void it and then ring it up again with the $5 discount, and up pops a price of $44.99. I guess she put an extra one in there. Score.
Are you sure you got the right one? I just scored the last one in Plano TX and it was sitting with the routers priced at $49.99. I almost got the wrong one since they look similar on the box. The cheaper one is router only without the phone jacks. |

Got 1 using the $5 coupon. Total with tax 70.03. 3 rebates spit out, $20 and $50 not requiring activation, $100 with activation. Thanks OP. |

Tom's Hardware seemed to give this router a good review. Here's the page on the wireless speeds.
Tom's Review
If the Linksys firmware has an option to asign DHCP IP's via MAC addresses then I am golden. Been using dd-wrt on my "Fon" router and Buffalo routers for a while and realy don't use any of the features besides DHCP/MAC assignment. |

Actually I was wondering the same thing after the price change but it's the right one and the receipt identifies it as the right product. Already sent the rebates. |

Edit: That was the case last week. This week it seems the rebates require a router purchase. |

online link I was actually wondering about this. The one we got is not one the same page where the 'free' USB print server is advertised. So you think it qualifies as the advertised router? |

well, as sinik pointed out, i guess you dont need to buy a router at all. but it you're gonna buy the router anyways, why not pick up a print server for FAR?
i talked to the CSR there & she said it should qualify. i recommend keeping a copy of the ad just in case. |

Do they store rebate forms not have that lanquage?
Last week was different, there was no language about the router, but this week there is the router language on two of the three D-Link rebate forms. |

I have one of the dlink print servers...configuring this thing and then configuring the computers is more pain than just connecting the USB cords to any computer. Specially when guests are visiting, i have found that it is easier for them to just connect usb to their computers and print. |

I was interested in buying one of these, but if you aren't going to get Vonage you can't do anything with it correct?

I heard this router getting very hot. It needs to reset after several days. So I'll pass.
