This may not necessarily be a better deal than what's going on now. The DVD media is already on sale, and if you can get the extra 50% off coupon to work, it's around $6.50 for a 50-pack of DVDs. The 60% off sale they have in a couple of weeks will most likely only be from regular prices. So, don't let the current sale pass by hoping you'll get them cheaper later.
Received OD mailer today for the "three days only 9/21-9/23" in-store sale. Besides the 60% off All OD Brand DD, CD, and Diskette Media, there are also coupons for some other deals i.e. $20 off $100, $15 OD GC when purchasing 2 cases of HP paper, $10 OD GC when purchasing any 2 inks or toners, 50% Ativa 10-sheet cross cut shredder and 25% off OD copy.print.ship
This is wierd. I got om coupons all the time and I am not even signed up with their spam mail. I am signed up with OD and Slaples but I never got a single coupon from them.

if you purchased something with your CC then you are on their list.

This is an Office Depot Worklife Rewards (formerly Advantage program) promotion. You should get the coupons if you are a member.
BTW, the $10 gift card when purchasing 2 inks or toners excludes HP.
Also, the coupons say Valid In-Store Only, so if you didn't get them in the mail, reading this thread ain't going to help evidently.
But using a coupon in combination with a sale going on that week and coming up with a better deal, that warrants a thread. We'll have to wait and see.

Their Regular price for a spindle of 50 DVD is around $29.99 to $39.99, if taking 60% off, you do the math. I think the price right now is a lot better, $11.99 for 50 DVDs and there is a valid coupon for that, making it $6. And pray hard to get Ricohjpn R03 for +R, suck if you get Ritek.

I agree. You never know but if its a planned, straightforward sale you know it generally sucks. Right now the 11.99 is OK but there is no way in heck that they are going to take any coupon discount beyond that unless you have it in your hand around my region and they never send that type of coupon while theres a sale going on. The 20 bucks or so for 100 DVDs is around avg for a decent sale. It would be nice if they sent me a coupon to go beyond that. It happened one time in the last 5 years.
When I got my 60% off a week ago as soon as people posted the 11.99 deal I rushed to get my coupons out and found out they said Sept 21 only. I knew that meant off the full price. Ill be shocked if it isnt full price.
Now that I'm thinking about this, what I'd really love to get would be some dual-layer media. If only we could catch a sale and then use this on top of that.
