DL are ritek!

The Office Depot brand CD-Rs are good. Ritek makes good CD-Rs.

What do MKM's even have to do with this deal? Of course they aren't MKM's, 'cause we ain't talkin' about Verbatims! Focus! Deal with what is in front of you, and stop making irrelevant comparisons. We know these aren't Verbatims. That's self-evident. That's not the point. At this price with a coupon, trying a spindle out might be worth it. Can someone address that?

Riteks freeze on the second layer for DL!

Enjoy your 25 DL coasters from OD. LOL!

Is this universal, in other words, everyone's experience, including those burning with firmware updated 1640s and 1650s?

Then put up a media code, or shut it. Ritek DL's suck, that is an important comparison...trying to help those make an informed decision and not buy JUNK DL discs.

Are you talking from experience, or are you just talking out of your butt? I bought this same 25 back of OD brand Dual layer discs during the last deal for $20 and I've only had 2 bad discs so far out of the whole bunch. Maybe you're not a fan of these discs, but for the price you can't get a better deal.

2 bad disks, LOL! That is $4 lost in coasters!

Your math skills aren't that great either. Think back to elementary school.... 20/25 = $0.80/disc if there are no coasters. Assuming the average number of coasters is similar to my experience (not counting people that can't figure out how their burners work) then you have 20/23 = ~0.86/disc. If you can tell me where I can find dual layer discs for less than $1.00 I'd be pretty impressed. Until then, brush up on your math skills and get back to me.

I've burned about 75 OD brand DL DVDs without a hitch. Gonna grab a few more packs 'cause this is mad cheap.

I was able to use the 60% off and a $10off$50 after buying three packs and getting $2 of filler. Came out to $13 per pack.

I was able to get a 99 +R's (pack was partially ripped, so they removed 1 to put it on clearance table) for $30, used 60% off and Chicago $10 off $20 coupon on them too (even tho this isn't for tech stuff). So I was surpised when they charged me only $2! I got a bunch of these coupons left and so I should be able to get the DL's for only $6/pack.

Too bad this deal ends today. I just scored (2) 25 packs of DL in Madison, WI for $33.75 after tax and there was still 10+ packs left on the shelf. Looks like not a lot of people got in on this.

On a side note, I just burned my first DL disk last night with a single blank I had... Wow did it take long at 2.4x! I think the whole process from DVD Shrink through burning took a bit under 2 hours! That is almost real time... Oh well, I can't complain too much at only $0.68 a piece!

Thanks OP.

Got 2 packs of the DVD+R DL's. Burned my first one on a NEC 3540a and it came out perfect. Hopefully the rest will be the same. Thanks OP!
