Home Depot has the Element FLX-3202 32" LCH HDTV for $478.00. You can use a HD or Lowes 10% coupon and get it for $430 +sales tax.
I saw this in Tacoma, WA they had at least 15 in stock.

Here is a link to the TV:Element FLX-3202
It is a 720P panel with Dual Tuner Picture-in-Picture (1 ATSC, 1 NTSC.

The HD SKU is 412813

I guess that this is a BF item, they aren't supposed to be on the floor until BF. They probably come in from China in containers in Seattle or Tacoma for distribution to all the HD stores. This is probably why they showed up here so soon.

They also had Magnavox HD Plasma 42" for $1499 and a Philips 720P Plasma 50" for $1999

Good price for a 32' LCD

nice find, macdave. this looks like it rivals the bf deals.

I'm pretty sure that Hmo Depot has interest free money for a year also, any purchase over 300 bucks; might be you need a credit card for that, or maybe it has limits against some items, though I sortof doubt that.

Good find, OP.

Green.

anyone know if these are carried at every HD store or just that one?

Although some people might think it odd to buy an HDTV from HD, keep in mind they have a 90 day return policy which might come in handy when buying a no-name brand like this!

On a side note, does anyone know why so many HDTVs (like this one for example) which have a PC input choose to provide it via a VGA port instead of DVI??? I just don't get this. Unless you have an ancient video card it is going to have DVI and since DVI sends a better quality signal than VGA, why on earth do so many of these TVs go with VGA? I realize it might be cheaper but there can't be that big of a difference and besides that, I've seen VGA instead of DVI ports on some expensive units as well, where any small difference in cost should be irrelevent. So, does anyone know why ALL models with a PC input don't use DVI?

Pretty sweet price. Green4 U OP.
Any opinion on how does this baby compare to the viewsonic LCDs?

I'd be very interested in any reviews at all. I thought this would make a nice Xmas present for the family--but I know squat about this company--and less than squat about what makes a "good" HDTV.

I am going off to look for reviews now and will try and post what I find--but anyone with any direct experience with this brand, please chime in.

The FAQ and Contact Us info on the Element website both say "Coming Soon"

good price, thanks OP. now only if you could find my 10% coupon~~

Not available online

2 Component video inputs , my 5 year old Sony 32 has 3. One for vcr/dvd/ps2

Review of the "first" product by this company, an mp3 player/pda here. It received 86 / 100. For what it's worth.

Hmmm...talk about not much in the way of feedback/information.

I did manage to find out that Element is a division of Petters Worldwide--maker or distributor (couldn't tell which) of such fine products such as Emerson, Sunbeam and Oster.

I think it's interesting too that there isn't one word in the product description about the length of warranty.

If I decided to take a chance on this it would go right onto the AMEX...

I probably tossed my 10% coupon. Blah! This seems like a pretty good deal!

don't forget to check your mail for 10% off and 0% for 12 months no payment financing with home depot card(citibank).

Not a bad price at all. If it has a one year warranty most credit cards double it instantly so 2 yrs @ 450 after tax is pretty good! now we gotta find some reviews on this baby...

I guess i'll drop by a Homedepot and pick it up tomorrow and let you guys know..

Nice find...local stores dont have them in yet.

I've never seen any TV's at any HD by me in Jersey.

HD selling TV

You have a VCR that uses component video????? What would be the point? Are you sure you are not talking about composite (yellow) rather than component (red, green, blue)?

Are you thinking of composite? I have never seen a VCR with component out.

Yes and yes. The point is not how I choose to use it. I could set up 3 dvd players if I choose

The tvs in north Jersey are where the tool rentals are.

It got two component on top of one HDMI and one VGA.
plenty of inputs for a budget line. (Never use composite, especial on a HDTV, I will smack you)

Who uses a VCR nowadays? burn them to DVDR with your computer.

This TV is probably low end as they come, would not be surprise if it also shows up as rebadged Polaroid one day.

"This TV is probably low end as they come, "

What is the basis of your point? Have you seen the TV? Were you involved in the Reasearch, Design, and/or Manufacturoring process?

lol taken from their site:

I think because a lot of existing HD hardware out there (some tuners, etc.) have VGA ports.

Then of course you have computers, where 99% of them have VGA ports, and (much less than 99%) have DVI

Therefor, a lot of manufacturers go with the most universal port.

I picked two up at the Kannapolis, NC, store. Works out well for me since I just bought a house and really needed TVs.

Petters Group? That sounds like an unflattering name, lol.

Nice deal on the tv though, too bad it doesn't support qam.

Occasionally HD will give you a $100 discount when you open a business charge card. You don't need to prove you are a business, just use your name. You may have to wait till there is a business rep in the store. You may be able to double dip with this and the 10% coupon.

Anyone know the physical size of this set. I can't find it...I want to hang it up, but got limited room.

Trying to get my hands on a 10% off coupon quick........paid for one on eBay which said instantly...but it's been 10 min now and still no coupon. Want to pick up one before lunch.

Went to Buckhead (Atlanta) HD, none in stock, was told available in morrow and cumberland HD, called those, cumberland said 1 in system but "they can't find it," morrow said none in system...

HD guy: This is an exclusie black Friday item. "How the hell ya know about this?"

Me: never mind

How can you expect a high end TV for 430.? All that matters is the quality of the picture for an average guy. I don't think there will be a 32 inch LCD any where else below 500. Specially with 10% off it is a real steal. You can get a VGA one for 500 on BF deals. Now the prolem is they chase ypu out if you ask them now. BF morning is really chilly.

I think the HDMI port is just a DVI port with audio. Physical the ports are different, but you can get a cheap DVI -> HDMI cable.

It does have a HDMI cable, which is close to DVI in quality. Maybe getting a DVI to HDMI cable is the way?

I am not involved in the research/design/manuf process of Sony or Pioneer, but the brand names speak for themselves.

Looks like this company sells one type of LCD, and one dvd player.
Go to their website and look.
Strrrrange.

Whats really funny is click the support link and contact link on their website.

COMING SOON !!!

I'll pop down a half a grand on a name brand product instead, sorry.

Huh? I play my 360 and haven't noticed anything weird... what input are you using?

I'm using component cable.

do you have the option of using a VGA cable? did you mess with the brightness, and color settings?
