If you have opened the cardboard box, then just eject the drive to see whether its samsung or hitachi, use the following picture to guide you :-

I would say this is the cheapest premium system out there at 300? The cheapest I've seen elsewhere is at overstock for 350~.

few weeks back tanga.com (copy of woot) sold it for $300+$7 shipping (bought one) no problem at all.

went to MC in tustin, CA and they said that it was a mistake; that corporate or some such was supposed to send the rebate to some stores only, or maybe at a later date.....anyway, no rebate there at least

It's short for Brick and Mortar, or meaning the physical store and not online.
